Would you buy a discounted phone if the retailer uses it to serve you regular ads in exchange?

Amazon’s Prime exclusive phones have been quite the topic this week. There are a couple of reasons behind this. For one, Nokia 6 has been added to the roster and we all know that this brand evokes quite a lot of feelings in phone fans. Secondly, Prime phones, usually midrangers, come with a nice discount — from $30 to $180 off, depending on the model.

Of course, there is a catch. If you get a bargain on a Prime exclusive phone, you will also have to endure Amazon ads and offers popping up on your lockscreen at all times. That’s right, no more pictures of your dog …
