What would you prefer: consistent, fast performance or consistent battery life?

For a while now, there have been reports that iOS automatically throttles system performance when the iPhone’s battery deteriorates below a certain threshold. Said theories have been all but confirmed now that the developers of benchmarking app Geekbench have stepped in to show tons of results that support them.
