PlayStation Video app for Android TV released in the Google Play

The PlayStation Video application for Android phones and tablets is available in the Google Play for quite a while. Today, Sony expanded the reach of PlayStation Video to Android TV.

Android TV owners can now search for the PlayStation Video app in the Google Play and decide whether to download it or not. The application allows you to buy or rent movies, as well as stream favorite movies and shows directly on your Android TV.

With PlayStation Video, you also have access to PS Video library, but you’ll also be able to access your PS3 and PS4 systems. …


Nvidia SHIELD TV update v5.2 brings Plex Live TV, option to cast 4K YouTube and Netflix video

Nvidia recently announced it has kicked off the roll-out of another update for SHIELD TV, which brings a broad range of new features and improvements. First and foremost, SHIELD Experience Upgrade 5.2 adds the option to cast 4K YouTube and Netflix video to the SHIELD TV. Verizon adjusts its pre-paid plans by adding more data; video streaming limited to 480p

Verizon has announced some changes to its pre-paid offerings starting on June 6th. On that date, Verizon’s pre-paid service will consist of  five different tiers: 3 GB of high-speed for $40 a month, 7 GB of high-speed data for $50 a month and 10 GB of high-speed data for $60 a month. The carrier already has a tier with unlimited high-speed data for pre-paid subscribers priced at $80 per month. With these new plans, some old features remain available such as Carryover Data. Google Allo updated with full-screen video support, performance improvements

Earlier this week, Google pushed an interesting update for the Allo app, which added Selfie Clips, the ability to capture your own GIF and share it with your friends. Today, the app received another update that brings one new feature among other things.
