Deal: Buy a new Sprint LG V20 for just $299

Thanks to an attractive deal available on eBay, you can currently buy a Sprint LG V20 for only $299.99 – about $400 off the smartphone’s original price. The device is offered by a top-rated eBay seller, it’s brand new, and comes with original battery, charger, and USB Type-C cable. For some reason, though, it does not come in its original box.

While this LG V20 is sold off contract, the handset is not unlocked. So, unless you find a way to unlock it, you’ll only be able to use it on Sprint, or MVNOs like Ting and FreedomPop (which are using Sprint’s network). …

Beautiful ultra high-res wallpapers, perfect for your Pixel XL, Galaxy S8 and S7, LG G6, LG V20, HTC U Ultra and others

High-resolution, and high-quality wallpapers are not the easiest thing to find, especially if you have as many as 1440 x 2560 pixels to fill with information – as would be the case if your smartphone has a QHD display.

The reasons for that are several. Perhaps most importantly, however, it’s just exceedinly easy for wallpaper repositories to simply upscale lower resolution content to make it appear as if it would fit perfectly on your fancy screen, but the reality is that stretching the image takes a ton from the quality. And that’s not what you want if you’re looking …

Buy the LG G6 or LG V20 from T-Mobile and get a free LG G Pad X 8.0 tablet

How would you like to receive a “free” tablet on T-Mobile’s dime? Purchase the LG G6 or LG V20 from T-Mobile along with the LG G Pad X 8.0 using the carrier’s Equipment Installment Plan. Then, sign up for a data plan containing at least 2GB of data a month. Six to eight weeks later, you will be reimbursed for the tablet via a pre-paid MasterCard. In theory, the MasterCard should be used to pay off the remaining balance of the tablet. But you could decide to use it for something else; as long as you are making the monthly payments on the device.

Speaking of the tablet, the LG G Pad X …

Deal: $350 off the LG V20 new and unlocked

The LG V20 phablet was launched back in September of last year. With the likes of Sony’s XZ Premium, Samsung’s Galaxy S8 duo and LG’s own G6 having been announced over the past couple of months, however, the V20 has a real struggle to capture the attention of consumers. Being a six-month-old in a market where handsets typically get a one-year shelf life, the V20 doesn’t have youth on its side, but a price drop over at Newegg gives it one major advantage over its contemporaries.

A device with an original retail price just shy of $800, the unlocked, …

LG G6 vs LG V20

Introduction

Note: This comparison was made using a pre-production LG G6 running close-to-final software. While not much is expected to change for the final version of the phone, we’ve still decided not to display any benchmark results or charts. We’ll update the comparison as necessary once we receive the finalized software release.

Two of LG’s best phones to date are currently sitting on my desk. One is the LG G6 – a phone that I’ve been actively using for several weeks now, pretty much since the day it was announced. The other is the LG V20 – a phone …

LG V20, HTC U Ultra, who knows what else: what do you think about secondary ticker screens?

So, LG did a weird little thing with the V10 — it stuck a tiny, secondary screen on top of the phone’s main display. Used for notifications, quick shortcuts to apps and utilities, or just an always-on clock screen, the ticker has found its niche of fans, despite the fact that many would rather see it move to the bottom of the phone, where it’s more easily accessible.

The feature was also present on the successor — the LG V20, and can also be seen on the brand-new HTC U Ultra. So, it seems it’s going to stick around for a while.

In 2015, when the V10 was announced, we asked you what …

LG G6 vs Galaxy S7 edge, iPhone 7 Plus, LG V20: camera comparison

As I said in my early look at the LG G6, the phone delivers on many levels – it is fast, it is sleek, and it comes with the promise of unparalleled durability. But the camera has yet to truly impress me. Yes, it takes decent shots from what I’ve seen so far, but can it beat what’s already out there? And can it match the camera performance of LG’s top phone so far? Perhaps this camera comparison will help us answer these questions. The devices we’ve chosen to compete against the LG G6 are the Galaxy S7 edge, the iPhone 7 Plus, and the LG V20. Here’s a quick rundown of their camera …

LG G6 has an EXCEPTIONAL screen-to-body ratio: here's a size comparison vs Galaxy S7 edge, Pixel XL, iPhone 7 Plus, LG G5, V20

After tons of teasing, rumors, and a few leaks, LG has finally unwrapped its 2017 flagship smartphone — the long-anticipated G6. Imbued with the hopes to reimburse G5’s shaken market positions due to the lackluster G5, the G6 is a phone that drops all the controversial gimmicks in favor of all the essentialities that make a good device.
It has a flashy new design with rather high screen-to-body size ratio, full metal build, and the good ol’ dual setup that’s already beginning to qualify as a signature feature of LG’s top-end …

DEAL: $360 or $15 a month buys you the LG V20, Samsung Galaxy S7/S7 edge at T-Mobile

This is a dangerous time of the year for buyers of Android powered handsets. With the next generation of flagship models just weeks away from being officially introduced, carriers and retailers are trying to unload their inventory of what will soon become older model handsets. This is accomplished by cutting prices on the devices that have been available for the last 10-12 months. This gives those in the market shopping for a new phone, something of a dilemma. They can take advantage of the low price to get a great deal on a handset that is on its way out, or they can wait for a brief period and …
