BlackBerry KEYone for AT&T gets new update that includes the October Android Security Patch


According to the AT&T website, the carrier has pushed out a software update for the carrier’s version of the BlackBerry KEYone. The update carries a build number of AAP606 and weighs in at 40-46MB. Once installed, the update features the October Android Security patch, including a fix for the BlueBorne vulnerability. The version of Android that will be running the handset remains at Android 7.1.1.

Changelist revealed for the Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ Oreo update beta

A T-Mobile customer who owns the Samsung Galaxy S8 recently found that his phone was updated with the Android 8 Oreo beta. The phone owner disseminated a screenshot revealing the changelist for the beta. The update weighs in at 1.4GB and includes Samsung Experience 9.0. The beta program actually launches today (November 2nd) and each of the four major U.S. carriers will be allowed to have only 7,500 Galaxy S8 and 7,500 Galaxy S8+ users receive it.
