Alcatel 5, Alcatel 3V and Alcatel 1X to be unveiled on February 24th

One day before the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will be unveiled, and two days before the start of MWC, Alcatel will introduce three new handsets. These include the Alcatel 5 budget flagship model, the Alcatel 3V and Alcatel 1X. The trio will be announced on February 24th. The Alcatel 5 will feature a 5.7-inch nearly bezel-less display, carrying a resolution of 720 x 1440 (HD+) and a aspect ratio of 18:9. Under the hood is an MT6750 chipset, equipped with an octa-core CPU running at a clock speed of 1.5GHz. The Mali-T860 MP2 GPU is also on board.

2018 LG V30, to be unveiled at MWC, will use AI to recommend camera settings and more

In two weeks, MWC will be open and at one point during the trade show, LG is expected to unveil its revised LG V30 model which is rumored to be called the 2018 LG V30. One of the new features on the device will be software giving the revised phone some AI capabilities. Voice AI will allow the user to give voice commands to Google Assistant that are exclusive to LG handsets. These commands allow the camera to start up in a specific mode.

Moto Z2 Force to be unveiled in India on February 15th; phone will come with a free TurboPower Pack

Last month, we showed you renders allegedly revealing what we will see from the Moto Z3 and Moto Z3 Play. These two models will reportedly feature 6-inch screens carrying an 18:9 aspect ratio and a 1080 x 2220 resolution. In addition, the Moto Z3 display appears to have dual curves. Sony Xperia XZ Pro expected to be unveiled in February with 4K OLED display

Sony Mobile has already introduced three new smartphones earlier this month at CES (Consumers Electronics Show), but the Japanese company saved the best devices for Mobile World Congress (MWC), which will debut late next month.
