Huawei Mate 10 Pro and Mate 10 now unofficially available in the US

Announced last month on the same day, the Mate 10 and Mate
10 Pro are Huawei’s latest high-end smartphones, offering the best features
that the company can commercialize at the moment.

While Huawei didn’t say when its two new handsets would
be officially launched in the US,
we’ve heard that the Mate 10 Pro could be released in early 2018 on AT&T.
Until then, if you want to buy the two devices, you can already find them on
Amazon. However, the phones that currently show up on Amazon are sold by third-party vendors, and they’re
international models – this means they do not come with …

Dual-SIM Samsung Galaxy Note 8 goes on sale in the US for $890, unofficially

It’s highly unlikely that Samsung will launch a dual-SIM version of the Galaxy Note 8 in the United States. But that doesn’t mean that the phone will not be brought in the country through more or less unofficial channels.

So, if you treasure dual-SIM smartphones over the single SIM once, then you’ll be pleased to know the dual-SIM Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is now available for purchase in the US.

There are some caveats though like the fact that this is an international model that will only work on GSM carriers in the US. Also, you can only buy the Gold and Gray colors since Black and …

Apple rumored to unofficially repair or replace Hurricane damaged iPhone and iPad units

So let’s say that thanks to Hurricane Harvey your Apple iPhone or Apple iPad sustained serious water damage that basically destroyed one or both devices. Despite the IP67 certification rating on the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, Apple has made it clear that water damage is not covered by its warranty. So under normal circumstances, the flooding in Texas would normally lead to water logged iPhone units that would not be replaced by Apple, even if they are supposed to withstand a submersion to 3.3-feet for as long as 30-minutes.

But that doesn’t mean that Apple isn’t going out of its way to …

Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro unofficially available in the US via Amazon

One of Samsung’s newest mid-range smartphones, the Galaxy J7 Pro, can now be bought in the US. While it’s not officially sold by Samsung, the J7 Pro (model number J730G) can be purchased via Amazon from a third-party seller. This seems to be a version of the phone that’s made for Latin America, so it’ s fully compatible with GSM/LTE carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile, but, unfortunately, it does not come with US warranty.

Essentially, the Galaxy J7 Pro is the same device that Samsung is selling in Europe under the name of Galaxy J7 (2017). This means it’s different and better than AT&T’s …

LG G6+ (with 128 GB of storage space) now unofficially available in the US

Last month, LG announced an upgraded version of its G6 flagship smartphone – the LG G6+ (or LG G6 Plus, if you will). Unlike the regular G6, which has 32 GB of internal memory (at least in the US), the G6+ comes with 128 GB of storage space.

While the G6+ is already available to buy in South Korea, LG didn’t say anything about the handset’s release in the US, and it’s likely that the company doesn’t plan to officially launch this upgraded G6 stateside. However, if you just must have an LG G6+, you can now order one via Amazon.

A third-party Amazon seller is offering the international …

Unlocked Motorola Moto Z2 Play (for T-Mobile and AT&T) is now unofficially available via Amazon

Released in the US at the end of June (last week), the Motorola Moto Z2 Play is currently available only on Verizon Wireless – thus, it’s locked and can’t be used on other carriers. Of course, an unlocked version of the Moto Z2 Play will be available in the US sometime later this summer, but maybe you don’t want to wait until then to get it. If you don’t, you can already order an unlocked Z2 Play via Amazon, though there are a few caveats here.

The Moto Z2 Play that can currently be bought through Amazon isn’t officially sold by Motorola, but by a third-party …
