Huawei P20 render surfaces with triple camera setup on back, fingerprint scanner in front

Yesterday, we showed you renders of the Huawei P20 Plus, which displayed the triple camera setup in back along with a front-facing notch. Today, renders of the Huawei P20 have surfaced including a 360 degree video that allows you to see the render from all angles. Once again, we can see the three cameras that adorn the back of the unit. Unlike the P20 Plus, a front-facing fingerprint scanner can be seen. And yes, it appears that a notch will be present on this model, too.

The Huawei P20 will carry a 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 2280. That would give the screen an …

LG G7 render surfaces revealing dual front-facing cameras

A render of what allegedly is the LG G7 has appeared and if legit, it tells us a little about the front of the phone. The bezels are trimmer than ever, and it appears that LG’s 2018 flagship will once again feature an aspect ratio of 18:9. A glance at the image also reveals the dual camera setup on the front of the handset. LG is reportedly planning on releasing the device in April, later than it had in the past so that it won’t get shut out on using Qualcomm’s new top-of-the-line Snapdragon 845 chipset.

Last year’s LG G6 had to make do with the prior year’s Snapdragon 821 SoC thanks to …

HTC U12 render surfaces revealing very thin bezels, no front-facing fingerprint scanner

The HTC U11 was arguably the best flagship phone from HTC in some time. While it didn’t feature the 18:9 aspect ratio and thin bezels that the competition sported, HTC made up for these oversights with the HTC U11+. One small problem though; the HTC U11+ was not widely distributed, and certainly was not available in the U.S. Keeping all of this in mind, you would expect that the HTC 12 will have all of the features that came with the U11+ Besides the thin bezels, that would include an IP68 certification rating and a large capacity battery.

Today, a render has appeared that allegedly shows …

The "Muskie," HTC's original version of the Pixel 2 XL, surfaces on the AOSP

HTC was the manufacturer of the original Pixel and Pixel XL. When rumors first broke about a pair of sequels, it was assumed that HTC would once again be behind both phones. In fact, the original Pixel 2 XL sported a code name of  “Muskie.” In June, this model was dropped by Google, and replaced by a larger screened unit code named “Taimen.” There is some indication that HTC was behind the “Muskie.” The “Taimen” was produced by LG, and it would seem that the latter made a late (albeit successful) bid to replace HTC as manufacturer of the Pixel 2 XL.

There are some interesting differences …

Sony H4233 will be a large handset thanks to its 6-inch display with full HD (1080p) resolution. Even though it’s not a flagship, the smartphone is supposed to be equipped with a …

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 surfaces on Geekbench

The three most eagerly anticipated handsets remaining to be released this year are (in no particular order) the LG V30,  the Apple iPhone 8 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. The latter will be the first of the trio to be introduced, with Samsung doing the honors August 23rd at its next Unpacked event. The high-end phablet will be under the microscope after last year’s model, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, was recalled twice and finally removed from shelves. A series of explosions that were ultimately blamed on battery flaws were responsible for the phablet’s disappearance from the scene.
