Is your iPhone X pulling your hair? Users complain about hair stuck in the bezel gap and mute switch

File this in the unforeseen consequences of having a bezel-less phone with steel frames, but Apple’s new iPhone X may be pulling people’s hair, beards, and so on, as multiple complaints on Apple’s discussion forums and random social media vents are reporting.

The hairs seem to get stuck either in the mute switch, or in the small gap between the bezel and the display. Some units are apparently being replaced by Apple, while many others are solving the annoyance by putting a case on it, though the mute switch still remains in play sometimes.

Stuck on Android Wear 1.0? Your watch will soon support standalone apps

Android Wear 2.0’s rollout was infamously terrible, thanks to bugs finding their way into the final release, combined with the classic Android sluggish update pace. But most of this is in the past now — Wear 2.0 has made its way to pretty much all of the devices it was promised to, though that does leave some older wearables like the original Moto 360 out in the cold.

But Google has recently made a change to its Play Store policies which should be very good news to all the users out there still stuck on the older version of the OS. Namely, it now …

Tesla mechanics rescue a cute kitten that got stuck inside a Model X bumper

TwitterFacebook

Of all the things that could possibly go wrong with your electric self-driving car, finding a kitten inside your bumper may be the cutest of them all.

An unnamed Model X owner uploaded two clips to YouTube on Saturday that show a teeny kitten trapped inside the bumper of his vehicle.

“So this morning, I heard a meow in my garage,” the man said in the clip. “And we don’t have a cat.”

After narrowing down the meows to his vehicle, then the rear bumper, the man decided to bring his car into a Tesla service center to get a little help rescuing the cat safely.

Dog stuck inside tree is the living definition of 'oops'

TwitterFacebook

If you’ve ever wondered what the word “oops” would be if it were a dog (you have, right?), look no further.

Meet Rocco. On Friday, he got stuck inside a tree at a Kentucky cemetery.

Rocco reportedly lodged himself in the tree after climbing into nearby hole dug by a groundhog, then trying to climb back out via the tree’s trunk. Rocco, however, is not a groundhog, so he did not quite make it.

Luckily, two off-duty state troopers were able to dislodge Rocco from the tree, and the adventurous dachshund was reunited with his owner. Officials also enlarged the hole in the tree should any other dogs attempt the same stunt. Read more…
