Square Enix kicks off Final Fantasy sale (Android and iOS) with discounts of up to 60%

Japanese publisher and developer Square Enix is spreading the holiday cheer with a special mobile sale, offering up to 60% off many of its Final Fantasy titles and other RPG classics.

The sale is available in both App Store and Google Play Store and contains games like Romancing SaGa 2, Final Fantasy II, Adventures of Mana and Secret of Mana. Some of the game included in the sale are already discounted, while a few will be on sale starting December 26.

Apple and Samsung to square off in court again to determine damages owed to Apple

If you were a PhoneArena reader back in 2012, seeing the name of Judge Lucy Koh in this story should bring back memories of that epic Samsung v. Apple patent infringement suit. On Sunday, Judge Koh signed an order that requires Samsung and Apple to square off in district court to determine how much Samsung owes its rival for infringing on a trio of patents. This comes after a Supreme Court ruling last year changed the way damages are computed in a patent infringement suit.

Now in its 27th year, the annual Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade in New York City continued its reign as October’s cutest event on Saturday, bringing together New York’s fluffiest pets and their ever-creative owners. 

This year’s crop of dog models – dressed in costumes that ranged from the Pope to the Devil to Kellyanne Conway – put on a delightful show for spectators.
