Still, considering the fact the South Korean company usually unveils its flagship for the first half of the year at MWC, we could say that the G7 was postponed.

LG’s CEO confirmed early this year at CES (Consumers Electronics Show) 2018 that the G7 development will start from scratch, which is the main reason the smartphone won’t be announced next month.

LG software updates schedule: When will my LG phone get a new Android version?

Let’s talk about LG. The South Korean company that refuses to add anything but zeros behind the decimal point of its Android versions, no matter how helpful those other numbers might be. If you’re the proud owner of an LG phone, we’re sorry to inform you that this is unlikely to change.

This, of course, doesn’t mean that LG phones won’t be getting maintenance and security updates. However, even those will be few and far in between. If you’re an LG owner, you should expect just one update every few months, incorporating several security patches at once.

But …

Samsung shifts to monthly security updates schedule for unlocked smartphones in the U.S.

Many fans have written to Samsung in the hopes of getting …
