Yesterday, we showed you three new video teasers from Samsung for the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ that focused (no pun intended) on some of the upcoming flagships’ photographic features. We saw video shot in slo-mo, and recorded under less than optimal lighting conditions. Today, we find another new video teaser that is titled “The Camera Reimagined.” This would indicate that Samsung has rebuilt the cameras on its 2018 flagship phones from scratch.

Samsung may use Bixby for voice-guided initial setup on the Galaxy S9/S9+

Samsung’s voice assistant, Bixby, had a rocky launch in 2017, but it was able to rebound, thanks to a handful of updates that expanded its functionality and capabilities. It may not the perfect AI assistant out there, but Samsung is still working toward fulfilling its initial vision. We even learned recently that the company intends Bixby to be one of the defining features of the Galaxy S9, along with the revamped camera.

Yesterday, we showed you images of the batteries that will allegedly be deployed inside the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Samsung Galaxy S9+. Those images came from tipster Roland Quandt, who today disseminated some more tweets containing pictures of other Galaxy S9/Galaxy S9+ components. For example, one of the images shows the fingerprint scanner (notice the new shape?) while another reveals the lone camera earmarked for the back of the 2018 flagship model.

An APK teardown of the Settings app on the latest Android Oreo beta for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, has revealed some interesting information pertaining to Sammy’s 2018 flagship handsets. We’ve already shown you what allegedly is the retail box for the Samsung Galaxy S9, and that certainly gave away plenty of information that Samsung would have preferred to release itself at a later time.
