Disney announces new Star Wars: Rivals action shooter for Android and iOS

Disney continues to capitalize on the Star Wars franchise and what better way to keep fans entertained than another Star Wars mobile game. Lucasfilm and Disney have just announced the upcoming availability of Star Wars: Rivals, the “first real-time Star Wars competitive action shooter for mobile devices.”

The game seems to have been built on the same pay-to-win system that currently plagues Star Wars Battlefront 2 game, but if you haven’t played it yet, here’s how Star Wars: Rivals will work.

T-Mobile matches its rivals, bumps data speeds on the Series 3 Apple Watch to 4G

T-Mobile CEO John Legere is more attuned to his customers’ wishes, hopes and desires than any other executive in the industry. So when T-Mobile subscribers complained that the Apple Watch Series 3 would be limited to data speeds of 512kbps (basically 3G), Legere looked into the matter. Today, the executive disseminated a tweet with good news for T-Mobile customers.

Former Verizon subscribers made up the largest percentage of its rivals recent customer additions

During the second quarter of this year, Verizon made the biggest contribution to its rival carriers in the form of recently added customers. Based on data from Cowen and Company Equity Research, more customers from Verizon left to switch to another operator than any other U.S. based wireless carrier. Cowen says that this indicates a more competitive market in the wireless industry. It also suggests that consumers aren’t willing anymore to shell out more money for a premium wireless experience now that the difference between carriers is fading.

Gameloft's MMO Dead Rivals – Zombies soft-launched on iOS

French publisher and developer Gameloft recently soft-launched its latest mobile game, an MMO called Dead Rivals – Zombies. For the time being, the game is available on iOS platform, but it will be released for Android devices as well.

According to Gameloft, Dead Rivals – Zombies is a “fast-paced action meets classic MMORPG adventures” type of game. It comes with three uniquely skilled classes and the option to customize your hero’s look.
