It would appear as though Apple’s 2017 iPhones are going to have connectivity speeds lagging behind competing handsets. While iPhone rivals will be able to run at a download speed of as much as one gigabit per second, an issue that Apple is having now with its modem suppliers could very well have a negative impact on the iPhone later this year. Qualcomm can sell to Apple right now a modem that will support 1 Gb/sec data speeds.
