Kate Upton and Justin Verlander missed their own wedding for a pretty good reason

TwitterFacebook

To be fair, the World Series is a pretty big deal.

Kate Upton and her husband Justin Verlander appeared on The Tonight Show on Friday night and revealed what is possibly the biggest ever double-booking of their lives. On the day the couple were meant to be wed in Italy, Verlander was actually scheduled to play game seven of the World Series.

Considering the fact that Verlander’s team the Houston Astros went on to win, it was probably a good call. Read more…

The OnePlus 5T price may be pretty close to its predecessor's

Hot on the heels of CEO Pete Lau’s tweet that the OnePlus fans will “appreciate what’s coming” despite that the “cost of smartphone components is rising,” comes a new leak which claims that the upcoming 5T handset will cost the same as its predecessor. In fact, the source posted what it says a table with the OnePlus 5T model pricing, allegedly sourced from a local carrier, which shows two versions of the handset will be in play, just as the rumors suggest.

The 6 GB RAM / 64 GB storage model carries the $505 equivalent price tag, while the 8 GB RAM / 128 GB storage high-ender …

Leaked Nokia 8 live pictures show the phone's camera UI (hint: it's not pretty)

HMD’s flagship, the Nokia 8 is supposed to be revealed on August 16, which means there’s plenty of time to learn everything there is to know about the flagship. We already know what the handset will look like and we’ve got a pretty good idea of what’s under the hood.

One aspect that remains to be clarified is the software that will power the Nokia 8. Also, we know that the flagship will come with Zeiss optics, but the camera UI might not rise to the expectations some consumers might have.

Although HMD recently transferred the Lumia Camera patent from Microsoft, …

Videographer goes to Yellowstone with the iPhone 7 Plus in hand, the resulting video is pretty impressive

So, we’ve all seen these “Shot on iPhone” pictures and videos, which Apple likes to endorse and put on its own website. But what we have here is, as far as we can tell, nothing but a fan project by photographer Harshit Vora, which is why it’s an interesting piece of media.

So, Mr. Vora visited Yellowstone earlier this Summer and decided to leave his mirrorless camera behind, taking a gamble with his iPhone 7 Plus. With the super-powerful app Filmic, some color grading, and nice editing, he got a really, really nice video. Want to do the same? Here are some really cool cinematic apps and …

OnePlus 3T in Midnight Black is pretty much sold out… sorry!

So, as we all know, pitch black is back as the hippest and most desirable color for a smartphone. Or at least that’s what manufacturers believe since they have been producing “limited edition” black models left and right, ever since a certain company made their new flagship fully black.

OnePlus is among those who jumped on the matte black bandwagon. 4 months after launching its upgraded flagship — the OnePlus 3T — the company pushed out a limited edition “Midnight Black” variant. Now, 30 days after the special version launched, it seems that it is nearly gone, …

Samsung’s new Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ sure have a stunning look to them — that edgy Infinity Display with minimal borders around it give the devices just the right amount of futuristic look. A shiny glass panel on the back adds a finishing touch to a mouth-watering design. But we all know what so much glass means — the possibility of a drop and unpleasant …

This is probably the only way you'll ever get to visit the Space Station, but it's pretty damn good

TwitterFacebook

We never tire of seeing amazing new footage from the International Space Station (ISS), but it would be even better if most of us could get a VIP ticket to visit.

Well, now we can, thanks to virtual reality on the Oculus Rift

Mission: ISS is a completely immersive VR experience that puts you on board the ISS as it orbits the Earth, with all the realistic effects you’d actually experience in space, including weightlessness.

Produced by Los Angeles-based studio Magnopus, the experience was developed in collaboration with NASA, the European Space Agency and the Canadian Space Agency.  Read more…
