Meizu Pro 7 Plus gets pictured next to the regular Meizu Pro 7, rumored prices revealed

It looks like the dual-screened Meizu Pro 7 will have some jumbo-sized company when it launches. Among the new images leaking almost every day is one depicting a purported Meizu Pro 7 Plus next to the normal-sized handset. As expected, the Pro 7 Plus also has that much-talked-about secondary screen on its back panel. And, as you can clearly see, it’s got full support for playing Pac Man as well. What glorious times we live in!

In case you are wondering, the black handset on the left is, evidently, the Meizu Pro 7 Plus – it appears larger than the phone in silver (or gold) next to it, which …

Meizu Pro 7 prototype #8 pictured with secondary display, dual camera

The Meizu Pro 7 will be the Chinese manufacturer’s flagship smartphone for 2017. It’s also shaping up as one of the strangest phones we might see this year, for leaked prototype photos confirm that Meizu is placing a secondary display right below a pair of cameras on the phone’s back panel. Although the idea isn’t new, as it was pioneered by the YotaPhone, Meizu’s spin on it is unorthodox, to say the least.

Reportedly, this smaller display shows notifications and other relevant information, just like the YotaPhone or today’s smartwatches do, saving battery life. …

Purported iPhone 8 dummy unit pictured with vertical dual cameras and under-screen fingerprint scanner

Designer and occasional leaker Benjamin Geskin claims to have obtained a dummy – more precisely, a CNC-machined model – of the upcoming iPhone 8. However, it’s difficult to discern which photos depict a physical unit, and which are a very good modeling job.

We are only certain about the pic showing the iPhone’s display, because Geskin ‘shopped it over a purported photo of the dummy unit. Do note that the screen he envisions covers the entire front, although there’s an overlay depicting the bottom bezel typical of all iPhones up to now.

Although the phone appears rather thick, Geskin …

HTC U (Ocean) pictured for the first time – is this HTC's true flagship for 2017?

Back in January, HTC said that it was not planning to release an HTC 11 smartphone. This, however, doesn’t mean that the U Ultra – available in the US since last month – will remain the company’s only high-end handset throughout 2017, as an HTC U (codenamed Ocean) is expected to be launched in the near future.

Thanks to Evan Blass (aka @evleaks), we now have what’s likely the first legit photo showing the HTC U. The upcoming smartphone seemingly has a glossy finish, a small fingerprint scanner on the front, plus rounded corners and edges. The device kind of looks like a smaller HTC U …

Motorola Moto C allegedly pictured, seems to be a new cheap phone

Motorola Mobility announced only two smartphones in 2017 (Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus), but it certainly has more handsets to reveal before the end of the year. One of the company’s upcoming phones seems to be the Moto C, a low-end device that recently showed up somewhere in China.

As you can see in the image above, the Moto C should come in multiple color variants, including black, red, and gold. A white variant of the Moto C may have also been briefly showcased in this video that Motorola itself released not long ago.

The Moto C does not feature a fingerprint …
