Those in the U.S. sporting the unlocked Motorola Moto Z (XT1650-03) are beginning to receive Android 8.0 at long last. The phone received the update in Brazil back in March, and earlier this month a small number of stateside Moto Z owners had their unit updated. Others used a workaround to manually update their Moto Z, but this required the bootloader to be unlocked.

Verizon rolling out Android 8.0 Oreo update to the LG G6

It looks like Verizon is the first US carrier to roll out the long-awaited Android 8.0 Oreo update for the LG G6. Unfortunately, Verizon hasn’t yet updated the phone’s support page, so it’s unclear what security patch the update contains.
