AT&T kicks off Android 8.0 Oreo rollout for the Moto Z2 Force

Surely, AT&T is not the last major carrier in the United States that releases the Android 8.0 Oreo update for Moto Z2 Force. However, Verizon and T-Mobile have already pushed out Oreo to the Moto Z2 Force back in December, which leaves Sprint to sort it out somehow.

The phone’s support page on AT&T’s website has been updated to confirm the rollout began on February 20. According to the information published by the carrier, the update should weigh in at around 335MB and contains the January security patch.

Google previews MWC; expect to see new Android Oreo (Go), Android One handsets

This morning, Google posted a summary of what we can expect to see from the company at the MWC trade show in Barcelona starting this Monday. ZTE Axon 7's Android Oreo update will bring a near-stock UI, improved battery life

ZTE USA today announced that owners of the Axon 7 smartphone can now register to be part of an Android 8 Oreo beta program – in order to test the software update before ZTE can publicly release it.

Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8+ owners were pleased as punch last week as the manufacturer started rolling out the much anticipated Android 8.0 Oreo update in certain markets. Essential has just announced that Android 8.1 Oreo is now available for the Essential Phone in the beta form. The US company confirmed last month that it will update the flagship directly to Android 8.1 Oreo, thus skipping Android 8.0.

Last week, Samsung started rolling out the Android Oreo update to the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8+ in the Netherlands and in Germany. The update, which includes the Samsung Experience 9.0 UI, weighs in at 487.04MB and carries firmware version G950/G955-FXXU1CRAP for both of Samsung’s 2017 flagship models.
