BlackBerry KEYone's keyboard shortcuts get showcased in official video

Announced back in February, the BlackBerry KEYone is supposed to be hitting shelves starting this month, at least in some regions (while in others, like Europe, it could arrive in May).

While waiting for BlackBerry Mobile to share official details about the release of the KEYone, you may want to check out a video that showcases one of the smartphone’s important features: keyboard shortcuts. Similar to the (now old) BlackBerry Priv, the KEYone lets you assign shortcuts for each of its 26 hardware keys. As you can see in the video embedded below, you can actually assign up to 52 shortcuts, …

Xiaomi Mi 6's official theme song can easily win the Eurovision contest

Although Xiaomi Mi 6 might be a China-exclusive affair, there will be plenty of Chinese retailers that will ship the flagship internationally. To highlight the fact that the Mi 6 is an international product, Xiaomi released the official English theme song of the flagship.

The song is called “Only One,” and it’s been composed and sung by Chinese artist Jiang Han. However, you won’t notice that while you’re listening to the song (it’s that good).

The lyrics of the song have been specially written to match the description of the new Xiaomi Mi 6, which looks …

It's official: Samsung will scrap the Music app, use Google Play Music as default

Today is the day when the Galaxy S8 and S8+ become in major markets across the world and Samsung has taken the time to announce that it has entered a special partnership with Google. Sammy will no longer include its own Music app on phones and will instead use Google Play Music as a default player.

Google Play Music, as you probably know, is not just a music player, but a portal to the Play Music service, which is a mix between a Spotify-like Internet radio and a cloud where you can store up to 50,000 of your favorite songs. It’s fighting a pretty tough battle in …

Moto C and Moto C Plus certified in Russia ahead of official announcement

It’s no secret that Motorola Mobility has had its difficulties in recent times. Taken over by Google in 2011 before being passed onto Lenovo three years later, things looked ominous when the China-based company laid off a large chunk of its Motorola workforce last fall. But with the Moto Z series having shown flair in the flagship arena, things are looking up, and the likes of the Moto G and E series have continually demonstrated appeal to lower-budget audiences. With the latter in mind, recent reports have indicated that dirt-cheap Moto C is in the pipeline …

The HTC U (Ocean) will be unveiled on May 16, check out the official invitation and a teaser video

It appears that HTC has pretty much given up on subtlety at this point. We’ve just received an invitation to an event, which, unless the company is for some reason pulling the ol’ bait-and-switch, will surely be dedicated to the unveiling of the much-rumored HTC U (Ocean) flagship.

Let’s look at the clues: first off, there’s the tagline, “Squeeze for the brilliant”, which is… an interesting choice to say the least. It’s accompanied by the letter U as seen on the U Ultra and U Play’s branding materials, but here it’s also squished from the sides to …

HTC One X10 mid-ranger is official in Russia; phone carries a 4000mAh battery (UPDATE)

UPDATE: HTC has issued a press release. The phone will be launched in Russia this month in black and silver, priced at the equivalent of $355 USD.

Ever since we showed you the leaked teaser of the HTC One X10 that Evan Blass originally tweeted, we could sense (no pun intended) that HTC fans were getting giddy. Sure, the phone looked like a premium model with its fancy get up, but that wasn’t the reason for the wide smiles from the HTC faithful. Those came from the tag line which read “big style meets bigger battery.”

For years, HTC had two major issues that fans could not get …

Beginning this week, Android Pay users can add cards to the service directly from their mobile banking applications with a tap of a button. As soon as the setup is complete, they will be able to use their phones to make mobile payments wherever they see the Android Pay button in …

Alleged Moto E4 specs leak ahead of official announcement

The unannounced Moto E4 and Moto E4 Plus may have been recently spotted at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), but aside from one piece of information, nothing was revealed about the phones’ specs.

If you’ve read our previous report, then you already know the Moto E4 Plus is tipped to pack a massive 5,000 mAh battery inside. Today, we’ve learned that the regular Moto E4 model won’t be packing a similar battery.

Thanks to the listing of the phone at the Indonesian regulatory entity P3DN, we now know a bit more about the Moto E4. Unlike the Plus model, this one will be powered …
