Samsung Galaxy S8 accessories and their prices get leaked ahead of official reveal

We’re just a couple of days away from the official reveal of Samsung’s flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S8, and it looks like we already know everything there is to know about the device.

Unfortunately, Samsung fans who like to be surprised at least once or twice per year must feel betrayed by the company’s inability to stop the sheer of leaks revealing important aspects about its upcoming flagships.

However, this time we won’t be talking about the Galaxy S8 per se, but about some of the official accessories that Samsung plans to launch alongside its top-tier …

Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) stops at the FCC before going official at AT&T

The Galaxy J7 (2017) is one of the many smartphones that haven’t been confirmed by Samsung yet, but it’s likely to make its debut on the market in the next couple of weeks.

Samsung is expected to launch the mid-range smartphone in the United States where multiple carriers will pick it up. We’ve previously learned the Galaxy J7 (2017) will be made available at Verizon as Galaxy J7 V.

However, TracFone will release it as Galaxy J7 Sky Pro, while Sprint, Virgin and Boost Mobile will offer the smartphone as Galaxy J7 Perx. Although we know AT&T will launch the Galaxy J7 (2017) as …

Galaxy S8 pre-orders will start shipping more than a week before the official release date

Samsung’s upcoming S8 and S8+ flagship pair have been generating a lot of heat among tech enthusiasts for quite some time, even before their official announcement, in large part thanks to the vast amount of information about them that is now public (which is pretty much everything there is to know about them, really). So it’s no surprise the company has put a lot of faith in its new product by gearing up for a large pre-order campaign, which is expected to result in even more sales than the Galaxy Note 7’s pre-launch campaign.

First off, Samsung is planning …

WhatsApp's text status update now official in the app stores

Back by popular demand. This old saying fits perfectly with the drama that swirled out of nowhere around WhatsApp’s now infamous video status update. WhatsApp users, who seem to be a minimalistic bunch, or, rather, so used to a pretty barebones messaging app that every effort to dress it up seems like a blasphemy, did rebel against the video status update, as they felt WhatsApp would simply be copying Snap or Insta.

Well, copying is all messaging apps do these days, and there is barely a feature introduced by some team that others don’t pick up quickly. Even the unique proposition …

The Huawei P10 Lite is finally official, three weeks after pre-orders started

We have been expecting this one for a while: today, Huawei has made the P10 Lite, the third and final sibling in the P10 line, official. This comes more than three weeks after we first heard of the device’s existence from a Dutch retailer’s pre-order page, which was soon followed by other European retailers.

Despite its insistence on neglecting the device, however, today Huawei has officially acknowledged its existence by announcing its availability in the UK. Pre-orders in the UK have also started as of today, though, just like its bigger siblings, …

TAG Heuer's Connected Modular 45 smartwatch specs and price leaked ahead of official announcement

TAG Heuer confirmed a few days ago it will launch a new smartwatch today, March 14. The wearable device hasn’t been announced yet, but the Swiss company already posted some info on the smartwatch on its official website (crazy, right?).

Apparently, the smartwatch will be called TAG Heuer Connected Modular 45, and it will be available for purchase in the United States for $1,650.

As expected, the Connected Modular 45 will be powered by Android Wear 2.0, and it will pack all the features you would expect from a modern, high-end smartwatch.

But the most interesting aspect lies …
