Apple just announced that the iPhone X – its most advanced

Apple says the iPhone X, aka iPhone 10, will be in stock at its stores for walk-in customers, who have the chance to buy the handset right away on launch day. Nevertheless, there will likely be stock shortages, so Apple encourages fans to show
up early. Besides launching in the US, the iPhone X will …

HTC U11 expected to receive Android 8.0 Oreo as early as November

When Google launched Android 8.0 Oreo back in August, it also listed some of the smartphones and companies that will receive updates in the following months. HTC was mentioned in Google’s announcement, although the search giant did not specify which smartphones will be updated and when.

The only thing certain is the U11 will be the first HTC smartphone to receive the Android 8.0 Oreo update. Even though initial reports pointed that such an update will be rolled out before 2018 begins, we managed to narrow it down to a shorter timeframe.

According to HTC leaker …

Don't count on finding an Apple iPhone X to buy when it launches November 3rd

While pre-orders for the Apple iPhone X will start a week from today, a new report sent out to clients on Friday by KGI Securities doesn’t bode well for those who expected to have the premium tenth anniversary model in their hands on launch day. The report says that Apple has had trouble receiving several components for the iPhone X, including the wide-angle camera, the Infrared dot projector which computes depth, and the antenna.

Highly regarded Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who works for KGI, says that the biggest problem facing Apple is the printed circuit board used with the iPhone X antenna …

HTC has just confirmed it will hold a launch event in early November. Last week, Chinese media reported HTC had started to send invitations to such an event, but the Taiwanese company did not confirm anything until today.

Fast forward one week and HTC has just tweeted a “Save the Date” image confirming a launch event for November 2. Although the company doesn’t say what device will introduce early next month, it’s safe to assume we’ll be seeing the HTC U11 Plus.

HTC sends out invites for a November 2 event, U11 Plus incoming?

Well, well, well, it looks like all the rumors that HTC hasn’t given up on issuing flagship smartphones even after Google acquired its “Made by HTC’ Pixel-crafting unit, will turn out tobe true. CEO Cher Wang tipped a while ago that HTC will have some impressive phones to show in the fall season, and it is indeed now sending out invites for a November 2 event over in the home turf of Taipei, with the enigmatic “U” letter featuring prominently.

The talk of the tape is that HTC will be jumping on the 18:9 screen aspect bandwagon with an U11 Plus handset of its own. Given how great …

Retailer confirms Huawei Mate 10 Lite launches in Europe in early November for €349

Huawei Mate 10 is just around the corner, but the flagship won’t come alone. The Chinese company plans to launch many a few derivatives of its Mate 10 meant to cover all price tiers.

The Mate 10 Lite is the mid-range version of Huawei’s flagship. Even though it will retain some the Mate 10 specs like the 18:9 aspect ratio of the display and the amount of memory, it fails to check all the boxes required for a top-tier handset.

For example, Huawei Mate 10 Lite will be powered by a 3,340 mAh battery, whereas the Mate 10 comes with a much larger 4,000 mAh battery. …

According to the teaser, Razer will announce something on November 1. The image shows a guy playing a game on a smartphone, which is evidence that …

The iPhone 8 release date may be pushed to November, as suppliers struggle with new components

When Apple chooses a component supplier, it’s not only since they can ensure production in mass quantities on a giant scale, but also because the parts can be churned out with a consistently high quality, ready to be put in a new iPhone. That’s not a small feat to achieve even for companies the rank of Foxconn, and, this year, there will be a never-before-attempted shot at iPhone greatness with an alleged OLED iPhone 8 in the wings.

Nikkei’s Asian Review is reporting that suppliers are scrambling to fit a variety of parts in the desired production schedule, and these range from …
