Popular mobile game HQ Trivia has finally made its debut on the Android platform after a short beta testing period. Although the game shows as “unreleased” in the Google Play Store, it appears that everyone can download and play it.

HQ Trivia has quickly become a phenomenon after being released on the iOS since it’s one of the few mobile games that allows players to win real money. If you make it to the end of the game and you collect at least $20, you can actually transfer the money to your Paypal account.

LG continues to lose money selling smartphones

LG has reported its third quarter earnings, and for the three month period that covers July through September, the mobile division took a loss of $331.17 million. With red ink staring it in the face, the manufacturer focused on the 8% gain year-over-year in mobile revenue, and the 4% revenue gain from this year’s second quarter. The loss was actually 13% smaller than last year’s red ink. In South Korea, third quarter smartphone shipments were up 44% from the 2016 total. In the states, shipments of intelligent handsets rose 9% year-over-year.

You can now send money in Facebook Messenger with PayPal

Skype and, now, Facebook Messenger are just some of the chat services that allow users to send money. However, the option is only enabled for users in selected markets. You can now withdraw money using just Apple Pay – and without an actual credit or debit card – at over 5,000 Wells Fargo ATMs across the US. This makes up 40% of all Wells Fargo ATMs across the country and gives users more freedom to leave their wallets at home.

Truecaller update brings new Request Money feature with limited availability

The folks behind Truecaller, the dialer app mostly popular in India, have just announced the addition of a new feature which will make payments between users much easier. Request Money is a new feature integrated into Truecaller’s UPI-based payments system, which allows users to create links that can be shared and clicked on to complete payments.

PayPal and Skype have teamed up to allow users to send money to other Skype users with PayPal via their mobile app (Android and iOS). The Send Money feature will first be available in 22 countries, and it will start rolling out today.

A 'Star Wars' resort is coming to Orlando because Disney doesn't have enough of our money already


No, you can’t actually visit that galaxy far, far away, on account of it being fictional and all. But Disney being Disney, they’ve cooked up the next best thing.

At D23 today, Bob Chapek, chairman of Disney Parks and Resorts, announced a “100% immersive” Star Wars-themed resort to come to Walt Disney World.

Plans for the resort were first reported in April, but today’s D23 panel brought our first official announcement.

Described as Disney’s “most experiential concept ever,” the luxury hotel promises to be a “100% immersive” experience in “an authentic Star Wars environment.”  Read more…

That 'Star Wars' Disney attraction that's going to take all your money has an official name now


Well, we can stop calling it “Star Wars Land” now. Disney has finally announced the official name for the Star Wars-themed zone that’s coming to Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It’s “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.”

Yeah, I’m probably still gonna refer to it as “Star Wars Land.”
