Specs leak for the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s along with a new image of the phone

Last year, Xiaomi released the Mi Mix 2, the sequel to its original near bezel-less model, the Mi Mix. Last month, we told you that the manufacturer could release a revised version of the Mi Mix 2 at MWC. Called the Mi Mix 2s, specs for the handset were just discovered on China’s microblogging site weibo.  According to the leak, the phone will feature a four-sided ceramic unibody with a 5.99-inch full-screen display.

Last month, we told you that Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi is likely to attend the MWC trade show in Barcelona that begins on February 26th. Chinese phone maker Xiaomi was the first company to ever make a “bezel-less” phone with the Mi Mix, released in late 2016. In 2017, it released the Mi Mix 2, the second-generation of its innovative phone, and now, the company is ready to unveil the third device in the series that will bring better performance and more polish to its most premium phone.

Xiaomi Mi Max 3 leaks; phone carries huge screen and massive battery


Last month, we passed along some of the specs that put the max into the Xiaomi Mi Max 3. A new render showing what is allegedly the back of the Mi Max 3 has surfaced, and it reveals that the device will be equipped with a dual camera setup on back, along with a fingerprint scanner. It also shows that the handset will be offered in three different colors including one black and two different shades of blue.

Xiaomi’s Android Oreo update for the Mi A1 was a bit rushed, which is why many users have experienced issues with some of the phone’s features, including battery drainage, GPS icon, fingerprint sensor, audio quality and many more.

After delivering the promised Android 8.0 Oreo update for the Mi A1, Xiaomi now plans to release a similar update for the Mi Mix 2, the sequel to the phablet that changed the way smartphone makers design their products.

Xiaomi’s first Android One smartphone, the Mi A1 is finally eligible for an Android 8.0 Oreo update after a short period of beta testing. Unlike many of its Android smartphones that are selling exclusively in China, the Mi A1 is available in a lot more countries.

Xiaomi to add iPhone X-like "full display gestures" to Mi MIX and Redmi 5 series phones

Xiaomi is testing new gesture controls for some of its smartphone models. The so-called “full display gestures” have been included in the latest beta build of MIUI 9, the company’s custom Android-based firmware.
Swiping up from the bottom of the display will get you to the home screen. Add a short pause to the same motion and you’ll activate the “Recents” screen. Lastly, swiping from the left or right of the screen to the middle will return you to a previous page.
