This could be the expensive Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design

We’re less than a month away from Huawei’s major unveiling announcement where the Chinese company is expected to introduce its new Mate 10 series. Just like in the last couple of years, Huawei will launch multiple variants of its flagship, but some of them will only be available in select markets.

One of the devices that’s likely to be launched on the market later this year is the Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design. Since the regular version is said to be priced to sell for around $850, the Porsche Design model should be much more expensive.

A couple of renders …

Huawei appears to be testing Android 8.0 Oreo on the Mate 9

Huawei could be closing in on updating the Huawei Mate 9 to Android 8.0 (Oreo). The phone appeared on benchmark test website Geekbench, powered by the latest build of Android. With the Huawei Mate 10 expected to be unveiled by the company on October 16th, the same software could be coming installed on Huawei’s upcoming new flagship model. The Mate 9 was launched January 9th of this year with a 5.9-inch LCD display, carrying a 1080 x 1920 resolution. It is powered by the Kirin 960 chipset, and comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage.

While Huawei hasn’t announced a date for the Mate …

Alleged Huawei Mate 10 Pro shows up in leaked images sans rear-mounted fingerprint sensor

Huawei is expected to unveil at least three new smartphones on October 16, all three variations of the Mate 10 flagship. In fact, one of them, the Mate 10 Lite, was officially introduced in China as Huawei Maimang last week.

Two other high-end handsets, Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro, will be announced next month, but we already know quite a lot about both devices. All three models will pack displays of various sizes, but with 18:9 ratio. We also know that the Mate 10 Lite will come with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, something that doesn’t seem to be present …

Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro allegedly leak in official renders

The Huawei Mate 10 series has thus far proven to be quite the head-scratcher: so far we’ve heard of at least three different models — Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro, and Mate 10 Lite — but there is allegedly a fourth one (code name Marcel) as well, though we know next to nothing about it. And to further complicate the matter, the Mate 10 Lite seems to have already been made official under a completely different name, even though the series’ launch event is set for October 16.

And while this leaves plenty of room for potential leaks of the series, we’ve …

Huawei Mate 9 to receive Android 8.0 Oreo update soon

News about Huawei working on new Android updates for the Mate 9 dates from April. Although Google didn’t even launch Oreo, the Chinese company was already rumored to test early builds of the new OS for its last year flagship.

More recently, the smartphone was spotted at Geekbench with Android 8.0 Oreo on board. Huawei MHA aka Mate 9 was Huawei’s first smartphone to ship with Android 7.0 Nougat, just like the Mate 10 is expected to be the first to come with Oreo.

Even though we don’t have a specific timeframe for the release of the update, the recent listing of the Mate 9 at Geekbench …

The Mate 10 Lite officially introduced as Huawei Maimang 6: four cameras, 5.9-inch 18:9 display

The Mate 10 is one of the last major smartphones to hit the market this year, a flagship that Huawei says it’s worth waiting for. There have already been lots of leaks about the Mate 10 and its many variations, but no official word on any of them.

Today, Huawei introduced the Maimang 6 in China, the company’s first smartphone to feature an 18:9 ratio display. We don’t usually report on devices that are exclusively available in China, but the Maimang 6 is expected to be introduced in the rest of the world as Huawei Mate 10 Lite or G10.

The Maimang 6 is now …

Huawei Mate 10 Lite leaks out, price and new details revealed

Next month, Huawei will announce a few new smartphones apparently
called Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro, and Mate 10 Lite. While we’ve already heard a lot about
the three upcoming devices, details on exactly what differentiates them are a
bit confusing. Nevertheless, after seeing the Mate 10 in the wild, we can now
take a look at the Mate 10 Lite, thanks to a photo revealed by Venture Beat (seen on the left).

The Huawei Mate 10 Lite looks a lot like the regular Mate
10, with a notable difference: its fingerprint scanner should reside on the
back, not on the front. Another peculiarity is that this …

Alleged CAD renders of the Huawei Mate 10 Lite surface with a 16:9 screen and dual cameras

Huawei’s Mate 10 — or to be more specific, three different devices all bearing the name — is coming in just a month. So it’s not that surprising that we’re seeing an increasing amount of leaks about the series, though we still have very little info on the regular Mate 10, rather than its Pro and Lite siblings.

But today we seem to have another possible look at one of the three devices — the Mate 10 Lite — this time in (potato quality) CAD render format. Design-wise, it looks pretty consistent with the design we saw in OnLeaks’ schematics-based …

Huawei Mate 10 Pro (Blanc) and Mate 10 Lite (Alps) specs exposed ahead of official reveal

Huawei confirmed it will unveil its Mate series flagship on October 16, and promised that those who wait for its Mate 10 will not be disappointed. Rumor has it, Huawei will announce more devices next month derivative of the Mate 10.

Aside from the standard Mate 10, Huawei is expected to introduce two other smartphones, which haven’t been named yet. An improved version that could be launched as Huawei Mate 10 Pro has the codename Blanc, while the slightly less-powerful Mate 10 Lite (or whatever its name) is known as Alps.

The standard Huawei Mate 10 is only known by its codename …

Alleged Huawei Mate 10 live picture leaked out (UPDATED)

Huawei Mate 10 is the next big thing for Android fans, and as far as we know, the flagship will be quite the beauty. Although it will be unveiled later than usual, Huawei promised the Mate 10 will worth the wait.

As many of you probably know by now, Huawei Mate 10 will be officially introduced on October 16. It’s unclear when exactly the phablet will go on sale, but Huawei will probably want to make it available as soon as possible.
