Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+ pricing in Euros leaked

For many of you out there, Sunday can’t get here fast enough. For this Sunday, the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Samsung Galaxy S9+ will be introduced during the manufacturer’s Unpacked event in Barcelona. It’s hard to believe that a year has gone by since Samsung, ditching tradition, showed up at the 2017 MWC trade show without a new flagship to introduce. Instead, the company showed off the Samsung Galaxy S8’s new Infinity Display with the help of a video.

Unlike last year, when the LG G6 kicked off the 2017 flagship smartphone season at MWC, this year Sammy will be first. A tweet disseminated …

Sony Xperia XZ2 and Xperia XZ2 Compact specs and price info leaked out

Two of Sony’s high-end smartphones will be much less expensive than Samsung’s upcoming flagships, the Galaxy S9 and S9+, at least according to a new report coming from Sweden.

The most expensive of the two Sony upcoming handsets, the Xperia XZ2 is said to boast a large 5.7-inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 coating and 18:9 aspect ratio. As expected, the phone will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory.

The slightly cheaper and much smaller model, the Xperia XZ2 Compact has a similar hardware under the chassis, but a 5-inch display …

HTC Desire 12 partial specs confirmed by leaked retail box

HTC is definitely not in a good spot and I’m not sure how long we’ll continue to report on the company’s smartphones since there might not be any in the not so distant future. What we do know for sure is the Taiwanese handset maker will launch one more flagship smartphone this year, the HTC U12.

However, we’re not going to talk about the top-tier smartphone, but about a rather entry-level device that HTC could introduce very soon. The unannounced HTC Desire 12 looks pretty tempting for those looking for a budget-friendly handset.

The folks over at AndroidAuthority got their hands …

Late last month, a couple of renders of the MediaPad M5, an unreleased Android tablet, leaked online. Now we have additional information about the new MediaPad slates that Huawei plans to launch on the market in the coming weeks.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 may have just leaked ahead of MWC 2018 announcement

Samsung fans are most likely focused on learning as much as they can about the company’s upcoming flagships – Galaxy S9 and S9+. However, there’s another device that South Korean handset maker is likely to introduce later this month at Mobile World Congress 2018, a new tablet.

Even though the Galaxy S9 is expected to steal the show, Samsung has another ace up its sleeve, the Galaxy Tab S4. The unannounced tablet has been recently spotted at GFXBench, along with some of its specs.

Naturally, the Galaxy Tab S4 (model number SM-T835) is a high-end tablet, so it’s no wonder that it packs …

Alleged Nokia 7 Plus leaked specs include Snapdragon 660 CPU, dual-lens Zeiss camera

Finnish company HMD Global is supposed to bring quite a few nice surprises at this year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC) trade fair. Aside from the new Nokia-branded flagship, an incredibly powerful mid-range smartphone could be unveiled as well – the improved version of the Nokia 7.

Since Nokia 7 is exclusive to China, the new model that’s expected to go global soon after unveil is a nice addition to HMD’s portfolio of Android smartphones. We’ve been reporting before about the Nokia 7 Plus, but this is the first time we have almost complete details about its specs.

Apparently, the Nokia …

Huawei P20's triple camera shows in leaked images, along with a notch-y prototype

We’ve been hearing about Huawei’s upcoming “triple-camera” P20 for a while now, and that it will also come in three versions, including a Lite model, which likely won’t have the fancy camera set of the top-shelf P20. Today, a few leaked images, of an alleged prototype, and case maker renders, flesh out those rumors a bit more, as on one of the sources we see a triple vertically-situated camera, and what seems like a dual LED flash plus a laser focus, while the other makes do with a dual arrangement in a horizontal placement, and a single LED.

Thus, the P20 might have Plus …

Asus ZenFone 5 smartphone with 18:9 display shows up in leaked images

Asus confirmed its ZenFone 5 series will be officially introduced on February 27, but it didn’t reveal anything related to the upcoming smartphones. If you don’t mind spoilers, we now have information about one of the ZenFone 5 handsets expected to be unveiled later this month.

Several pictures taken from a manual show the unannounced Asus ZenFone 5 from all angles. The information contained in the document also confirms the smartphone will feature a 5.7-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio.

Asus hasn’t dropped the 3.5mm audio jack, which is positioned on top of the smartphone. The microUSB …

Leaked photos show several components belonging to the Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+

Yesterday, we showed you images of the batteries that will allegedly be deployed inside the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Samsung Galaxy S9+. Those images came from tipster Roland Quandt, who today disseminated some more tweets containing pictures of other Galaxy S9/Galaxy S9+ components. For example, one of the images shows the fingerprint scanner (notice the new shape?) while another reveals the lone camera earmarked for the back of the 2018 flagship model.

Another picture shared by Quandt shows off the USB-C board for the Samsung Galaxy S9+. Both models will be unveiled on February 25th, at the …

Huawei MediaPad M5 leaked renders reveal lack of audio jack, high-end specs

It appears that Huawei will be one of the few companies to release new Android tablets in the first half of the year. The Chinese giant is ready to unveil one or more slates, but that probably won’t happen until late next month at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018.

We reported last month on an Android tablet that Huawei might launch at some point, the MediaPad M5. It looks like the device made it to FCC (Federal Communications Commission), which means it will be introduced pretty soon.

Along with some information about the MediaPad M5’s specs, FCC also listed several pictures of the …
