More Moto G5S Plus photos leak ahead of possible July 25 announcement

Just a week after noted leakster Evan Blass shared details about the Moto G5S Plus, two live images of the handset surfaced online. They give us a good “in-action” look at the upcoming smartphone, even if the latter is still covered in stickers and obviously still being prepared for a soon-to-be reveal.

According to Blass’ report and all the leaked evidence supporting his claims, the reported changes from the original Moto G5 Plus are both cosmetic and technological. For starters, the smartphone is now made of aluminum, no longer making do with a plastic back. What’s more, a dual camera …

Pixel XL 2 size compared to current Pixel and Pixel XL, based on recent leak

A couple of days ago, we got our first glimpse at what the 2017 Google Pixel XL 2 would look like. A design that revisits last year’s look with a partially-covered-by-glass back and adopts the new trends of super-thin bezels and 2:1 screen aspect ratio.

After that leak made its rounds, serial leakster Benjamin Geskin sidetracked from leaking iPhone 8 bits for a while and made a couple of renders that showcase how the Pixel XL 2 would look in silver and blue. Then, he went ahead and visualized a size comparison.

In the below image, which is based on everything we (think we) know so …

New Samsung Galaxy Note 8 CAD leak matches previously posted designs

Skins manufacturer Slickwraps would figure to be the kind of accessory manufacturer that would get an early heads up on the design of an upcoming handset. The company’s CEO, Jonathan Endicott, sent out a tweet this morning showing off a CAD designed image of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. The image appears to match a previous sketch of the phablet that was apparently made from a similar CAD leak.

There is also some similarity to a very ugly design tweeted by tipster OnLeaks during the last few days of June. Considering that Slickwraps is apparently betting its money on the image seen on its …

Asus ZenFone Pegasus 4A dual camera smartphone press images, specs, price leak

A new Asus ZenFone 4-series press image appeared online, alongside a purported spec sheet and price tag. Mind you, we wouldn’t say that we are 100% confident in what we are seeing here. In particular, the dual camera module on the back of the handset looks poorly edited. However, the rest of the images hold up and appear convincing, even though the smartphone’s design isn’t at all exciting or innovative.

For all the unconventional phones we saw this year, such as the Galaxy S8, the LG G6, and the Essential Phone, manufacturers from China and Taiwan seem to be compelled to retaliate with …

More OnePlus 5 photos leak out, cases and retail box included

Since OnePlus couldn’t – and didn’t – want to keep too many secrets about the OnePlus 5, its upcoming flagship phone, we know quite a lot about the device. The handset will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, a dual rear camera à la iPhone 7 Plus, and an overall design that also makes us think about Apple’s 5.5-inch iPhone.

Shortly after we’ve seen what appear to be renders showing the front and back of the OnePlus 5, we can now check out another set of photos that seemingly present the upcoming phone in (and out of) its retail box. It’s not clear what the exact origin of the …

"Final" schematics leak for Apple iPhone 7s Plus and Apple iPhone 8

So much focus has been put on the 10th anniversary Apple iPhone model that has been dubbed the iPhone 8, that not much has been said about the two other units that will accompany the premium handset. Today, two schematics have surfaced that are reportedly the final drawings for the Apple iPhone 7s Plus and the Apple iPhone 8. These diagrams are believed to be employed in the production of the two phones.

Starting with the Apple iPhone 8, the dimensions are 143.4 x 70.77 x 7.51 mm not including the dual-camera bump on the rear. As we’ve seen with other images, the iPhone 8 will feature an …

The Microsoft Surface Mobile will include a built-in projector, Surface Pen, and Win32 app support, leak shows

It’s been a while since we’ve heard rumors of the mythical creature known as the Surface Phone, but if the rumor mill is to be trusted, a number of huge details about it (like, for example, that it hasn’t been shelved like most of us suspected) may have just been revealed by Microsoft itself.

As far as obscurity goes, the source of the information probably ranks pretty high on your average Westerner’s list – a video description on Microsoft’s official account on Bilibili, a Chinese, anime-themed YouTube-like video sharing service. The text reveals …

Huge Apple leak could just as well be someone's vivid imagination

TwitterFacebook

Apple, as a rule, never says what its upcoming products will look like, be like, or even what they’re called. But months and even years before a new Apple product is scheduled (or expected to) arrive, numerous rumors shape these objects into a vague but somewhat coherent picture. This is how we “know” that the next iPhone will come in three versions, one of which will (likely) have a near bezel-less screen with an under-the-glass fingerprint sensor and a glass back.

These rumors mostly originate from the elusive “sources in Apple’s supply chain,” which usually means either workers at Foxconn, the Chinese company that builds the iPhone for Apple, or various secondary sources such as workers at companies that make iPhone cases and thus have limited prior knowledge of what the upcoming devices will look like.  Read more…

OnePlus 5 camera samples leak, suggesting that one of the dual cameras will shoot in monochrome

New photographs have surfaced, claiming to be more camera samples from the upcoming OnePlus 5. We expect to see a dual camera setup on back of the phone, with a vertical placement. OnePlus is working in tandem with photography benchmark firm DxOMark to improve the cameras on the next flagship killer. In late April, a series of four photos taken in Shenzen, China, where OnePlus is headquartered, leaked. Said to have been shot with the OnePlus 5, this set of photographic samples contained a picture with a blurred background which supposedly indicated that the handset will have two rear cameras in …

Apple iPhone 8 dimensions leak along with new renders

According to the latest leak about the tenth-anniversary edition Apple iPhone, the model dubbed the Apple iPhone 8 will feature dimensions of 143.59 x 70.94 x 7.57 mm. To put these numbers in perspective, the Apple iPhone 7 measures 138.3 x 67.1 x 7.1 mm. That means that the iPhone 8 will be bigger all around than the iPhone 7. Compared to the Apple iPhone 7 Plus, which weighs in at 158.2 x 77.9 x 7.3 mm, the iPhone 8 is smaller. This is true even if the latter carries a larger screen. The edge-to-edge near bezel-less look of the tenth- anniversary edition makes this possible.
