More Moto G6, Plus and Play specs leak out, along with their prices

Info about Motorola’s upcoming phones is leaking from all sides these days, indicating that Moto may launch a G6, G6 Play and G6 Plus very soon, likely at the Mobile World Congress at the end of February. The three devices will purportedly have a brand new glass-and-metal design, similar to that of last year’s Moto X4.

While the design already leaked out, in a beautiful, trendy 18:9 screen format, the specs have been the subject of speculation for a good month now, with just one piece of info trickling down the rumor pipe. Until today, that is, when we reiterate most …

Having sold more than 4 million smartphones in the last quarter of 2017, HMD Global (maker of Nokia-branded handsets) is certainly in a good position to release new phone models throughout 2018.
Not long ago, we heard that a Nokia 7 Plus and a Nokia 1 should be launched sometime this year. HMD hasn’t confirmed their existence, but we can now take a pretty good look at both these upcoming devices – thanks to photos revealed by Evan Blass (aka @evleaks).
The Nokia 7 Plus (or Nokia 7+) is quite an interesting device, and seems to be the …

This is arguably the handset that leaked not long ago, and scored similar to 9810 in the multi-core tally, but much lower in single core, so what else are we learning about it from AnTuTu’s post today?
Well, the screen resolution of the SM-G965 handset (S9+) won’t be 1080 x 2020 pixels, as is depicted …

Published iBoot source code said to be the biggest leak in Apple history

Remember last July when Apple pushed out firmware for its HomePod smart speaker to developers, and it revealed leaks about the iPhone X? Only back then, we were calling the device the Apple iPhone 8, as were all media outlets at the time. That leak gave us our first look at the infamous “notch” and showed us that without Touch ID on front, a facial recognition system seemed likely (which was something that KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo had amazingly told us five months earlier).

That leak might have been surpassed by what some are calling “The biggest leak in Apple history.” Apparently, …

Rear components of Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+ leak, revealing new layout for the back of the phones

This afternoon, some new images appeared on Evan’s Twitter account, including one photo showing the rear components of Sammy’s 2018 flagship phones.

The component featuring two vertically mounted cameras belongs to the larger Samsung Galaxy S9+. Both shooters weigh in at 12MP. To the right is the rear layout of the Samsung Galaxy S9. That is a single 12MP camera …

Leaked memo from Snap warns employees not to leak confidential company information

If you are an employee of Snapchat parent Snap, it behooves you to keep your mouth in the upright and locked position. A memo meant for the eyes of Snap employees only has leaked and in it, the company lays down the law on employee leaks. Enforcing a zero-tolerance policy, Snap says that any employee found to be divulging information that is supposed to remain secret will be fired, and could be fined and jailed. It is ironic that a memo about punishing employees who leak company information is, well, leaked.

In the memo, Snap general counsel Michael O’Sullivan wrote that, “If you leak Snap …
