Samsung might soon launch new Voice Note app to replace Sound Recorder

Samsung is in the process of renaming and/or replacing some of its apps that come pre-installed on most of the Galaxy smartphones. Recently, the South Korean company filed a trademark for something called “Samsung Voice Note.”

The description confirms that it’s a “computer software that enables users to record audio,” which is exactly what the Sound Recorder app does at the moment. Unfortunately, we can’t say for sure whether this is a brand new app that will be part of the Galaxy S9, or it’s meant to replace the current Sound Recorder app on many Galaxy smartphones.

Apple pushes back its HomePod launch until "early" 2018

If you were planning on purchasing the Apple HomePod next month, you are going to have to wait. In a statement released today, Apple says that while it can’t wait for people to use the smart speaker, “we need a little more time until its ready for customers.” The device was scheduled to launch sometime next month, priced at $349. Apple now says that the launch will take place early next year.

Apple and Nike have just announced a new partnership for the launch of limited edition Watch Series 3 with LTE. The new wearable device is called Midnight Fog and it’s supposed to match Nike’s new Air VaporMax running shoes that will be launched later this month.

The OnePlus 5T is going to be unveiled this coming Thursday, November 16th. Redesigned Snapchat to launch on Android December 4th?; Snap to sell Spectacles at store in London

Yesterday, we told you that Snapchat parent Snap had reported a lower than expected gain of 4.5 million new Active Daily Users during the third quarter. More importantly, founder and CEO Evan Spiegel said that the messaging app will be unveiling a new redesign for the Android version of Snapchat. Following the redesign, Snapchat will be easier to use. Niantic Labs, the maker of the Pokemon GO smash hit, is expected to launch another AR (augmented reality) game for mobiles next year. The new game will benefit from another tremendously popular franchise: Harry Potter.
