Sprint launches Samsung Knox Manage security solution for Galaxy devices

Major carrier Sprint has just announced a new service available to business customers with Samsung Galaxy devices. Presented as a “new affordable, secure Enterprise Mobility Management (MDM) solution,” the new service provided by Sprint and Samsung is supposed to offer secure mobile devices management to IT professionals.

Dubbed Samsung Knox Management, the solution includes a number or top-tier protection and management capabilities, such as security, manageability, system performance, and control.

AT&T rolls out Galaxy S7 update that adds June security patch, Knox and Messaging fixes

While many handset makers are already pushing updates that contain the newest July security patch, U.S. carriers like T-Mobile and AT&T are rolling out the last month security update.

AT&T has just confirmed that a new update is now available for Samsung Galaxy S7. Aside from the June security patch, the update brings a couple of fixes and improvements that are meant to further enhance users experience and phone’s performance.

Samsung pulls the plug on My Knox, suggests switch to Secure Folders

In 2014, Samsung introduced My Knox to its handsets. This was a security platform that separated a user’s work apps from his/her personal apps, and kept them secure. The Knox “sandbox” allowed users to use the same phone for work and play without having to worry about work data getting stolen or mixed up with personal apps and content.
