Interesting Nokia 7 Plus (with tall 18:9 screen) and Nokia 1 leak out

Having sold more than 4 million smartphones in the last quarter of 2017, HMD Global (maker of Nokia-branded handsets) is certainly in a good position to release new phone models throughout 2018.
Not long ago, we heard that a Nokia 7 Plus and a Nokia 1 should be launched sometime this year. HMD hasn’t confirmed their existence, but we can now take a pretty good look at both these upcoming devices – thanks to photos revealed by Evan Blass (aka @evleaks).
The Nokia 7 Plus (or Nokia 7+) is quite an interesting device, and seems to be the …

Kylie Jenner reveals her baby's name and it's, uh, interesting

TwitterFacebook

The baby has a name! No, it’s not Mariposa, Butterfly or Posie. Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott’s (née Jacques Webster) first child together is named….drumroll please…Stormi.

The couple welcomed baby Stormi on Feburary 1st after months of secrecy and speculation about her pregnancy. Just five days later, Kylie has officially made the announcement on Instagram (where else would you expect?) with a simple shot of her baby and her well-manicured nails.

Announced and released two months ago, in November 2017, the Razer Phone might get a successor sooner than we’d expect. According to French website FrAndroid (usually a reliable source), a well-informed insider has it that a second generation Razer handset, possibly called Razer Phone 2, should be released in September 2018 – less than one year after the original model. Interestingly, FrAndroid notes that the Razer Phone 2 might be launched at the same time with a commercial version of Project Linda (pictured above), though the folks at Razer haven’t made a final decision on this yet. …

Arya's new Valyrian steel dagger is even more interesting than we thought

TwitterFacebook

Fair warning: This post contains spoilers for all of Game of Thrones books and episodes.

It’s excellent advice for lawyers and omniscient stoners in fantasy series: Don’t ask a question you don’t already know the answer to.

Arya Stark was handed a shiny, deadly new toy in episode 4 of Game of Thrones last weekend: A Valyrian steel dagger. She was given it by her brother Bran, who not long before had been handed it by resident slimeball Littlefinger.

The dagger was used by a cutthroat who tried to murder Bran in Season 1, and as Littlefinger points out, in a very real way it started the War of the Five Kings. After fighting off the assassin, Catelyn Stark took the dagger to Kings Landing because she suspected the Lannisters were behind the attempt on Bran’s life.  Read more…

Chasing rainbows: Google might be considering interesting new color options for the Pixel 2

According to David Ruddock from Android Police, Google’s is considering intriguing new color options for its upcoming second generation of Pixel phones. No idea what these could be or if they are going to make it to mass production
Last year’s Pixel and Pixel XL arrived in Quite Black, Very Silver, and Really Blue colors, and we wouldn’t rule out the possibility that El Goog will once again go for tongue-in-cheek color names.
Purely Pink? Extra Yellow? Rad Red? Humble Violet? We can only speculate, but one thing is for sure – …
