New Huawei Mate 10 Pro render emerges, reveals an interesting detail

The announcement event for Huawei’s new Mate 10 series is just around the corner, and, unsurprisingly, a barrage of leaks are heralding its arrival.

Little is left to the imagination from what has surfaced so far – we already know that the lineup will feature multiple devices, we are aware of the majority of their most important specs, and even their visual appearance. Granted, some of this information is unofficial, but the sources from which it came from have proven to be trustworthy.

Huawei Mate 10 Pro leaks out again, interesting color variants revealed

Huawei won’t properly announce its Mate 10 smartphone series
before October 16, but we already know plenty about it, including the fact that
it should be comprised of multiple devices – a regular Mate 10, a Mate 10 Pro,
a Mate 10 Lite, and even a Mate 10 Porsche Design.

Earlier this week, we saw some leaked images that allegedly
showed the Mate 10 Pro and some of its highlight features. Now, we can say – with
pretty high confidence – that those images were indeed depicting the new Mate
Pro. That’s because the ever-reliable Evan Blass (aka @evleaks) today revealed what
looks to be an …

Arya's new Valyrian steel dagger is even more interesting than we thought

TwitterFacebook

Fair warning: This post contains spoilers for all of Game of Thrones books and episodes.

It’s excellent advice for lawyers and omniscient stoners in fantasy series: Don’t ask a question you don’t already know the answer to.

Arya Stark was handed a shiny, deadly new toy in episode 4 of Game of Thrones last weekend: A Valyrian steel dagger. She was given it by her brother Bran, who not long before had been handed it by resident slimeball Littlefinger.

The dagger was used by a cutthroat who tried to murder Bran in Season 1, and as Littlefinger points out, in a very real way it started the War of the Five Kings. After fighting off the assassin, Catelyn Stark took the dagger to Kings Landing because she suspected the Lannisters were behind the attempt on Bran’s life.  Read more…

Chasing rainbows: Google might be considering interesting new color options for the Pixel 2

According to David Ruddock from Android Police, Google’s is considering intriguing new color options for its upcoming second generation of Pixel phones. No idea what these could be or if they are going to make it to mass production
Last year’s Pixel and Pixel XL arrived in Quite Black, Very Silver, and Really Blue colors, and we wouldn’t rule out the possibility that El Goog will once again go for tongue-in-cheek color names.
Purely Pink? Extra Yellow? Rad Red? Humble Violet? We can only speculate, but one thing is for sure – …

Moto Z2 Force renders and 360-degree video leak out revealing an interesting surprise

Motorola is getting ready to announce two new high-end smartphones this year: the Moto Z2 and Moto Z2 Force. First spotted several days ago, the latter model can now be seen in a set of clear renders and a 360-degree video, thanks to @OnLeaks and Android Authority. Thus, we’re now able to take a pretty good look at the upcoming handset from all angles.

Samsung Galaxy S8 teaser ad airs in South Korea, might be hinting at some interesting features

If you’ve lost count of all the rumors, leaks, and teasers about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8, worry not – we did too. At this point, we can’t help but suspect that Samsung might be behind the barrage of leaked material, but whether intentional or not, the effect of this “campaign” has been clearly beneficial – our interest grows proportionally to the amount of released information.

The latest Galaxy S8 teaser video released in South Korea is a perfect example of the above statement – it doesn’t reveal that much at a first glance, yet it might hint at some interesting …

Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) battery life test shows some interesting results

The Galaxy A3 (2017) is Samsung’s new and smallest member of the affordable A series. A 4.7-inch phone with tiny bezels, it’s smaller than an iPhone 7 (yet not quite in iPhone SE territory), but still packs some impressive features like a stylish glass-and-metal design, IP 68 water protection, the new Samsung interface and more.
The new A3 also packs a 2,350 mAh battery, which may sound small, but let’s not forget that this phone has an HD display and features Samsung’s new and more power efficient Exynos 7870 system chip. With all the excellent …
