Today, Snap Inc. introduced a new API called Snap Kit, which will allow 3rd parties to integrate Snapchat features into their apps. Snap Kit consists of four sub-Kits: Creative, Login, Bitmoji, and Story.

Now that Snap is allowing 3rd parties to access user data, privacy is of the utmost concern. Snap is addressing privacy by deactivating apps that are inactive for 90 days, as well as only providing the basic data: your username and Bitmoji. Sprint has confirmed that it will be ending Google Voice support in June. The partnership between the fourth-largest carrier and Google dates all the way back to 2011 when those on the Sprint network were allowed to use their regular number as a Google Voice number. Samsung and PayPal announced last year a partnership that will provide PayPal users in the United States with the option to make payments via Samsung Pay. Unfortunately, neither company said anything about when exactly PayPal integration will be available for Samsung Pay.

Instagram brings back GIPHY integration after the database promises to stop racial GIFs

Earlier this month, the discovery of a racial GIF sticker sourced from database GIPHY led Instagram and Snapchat to both remove GIPHY integration from their apps. Today, Instagram has decided to give GIPHY another chance after the latter did a thorough review of its GIF inventory four times, and found nothing offensive. Microsoft reportedly bringing Cortana integration to Outlook for Android and iOS

Shortly after Microsoft’s Outlook for Android and iOS boss Javier Soltero moved to leading the Cortana team, new reports claim the Redmond-based company plans to bring the digital assistant to the email app.

Apparently, sources familiar with Microsoft’s plans told The Verge that Cortana integration on Outlook for Android and iOS is now being tested internally, and if results are positive, then the feature will be part of a beta program before going public.
