Verizon updates the Moto Z2 Force to support Gigabit Class LTE speeds

Owners of the Verizon version of the Moto Z2 Force should expect a notification about an update to come across the screen at any time. This is a pretty important update that will allow the device to support Big Red’s upcoming Gigabit Class LTE service. A couple of months ago, Verizon tallied a 1.07 Gbps speed in a lab using Qualcomm’s X20 LTE modem chip.  Don’t expect such a high speed from the Moto Z2 Force since the latter employs the less powerful X16 modem. And the phone won’t be used inside the perfect conditions found inside a lab.
