One week after it started selling its unlocked V30
smartphone in the US,
LG is now almost ready to launch an unlocked variant of the V30+, too.
While it’s not as fancy as the V30 Signature Edition recently
released in South Korea,
the LG V30+ is still superior to the regular V30. That’s because it offers
double the storage space (128 GB vs. 64 GB), and comes with premium LG QuadPlay
headphones in the box (while the normal V30 has no headphones at all).
If you’re interested in getting the unlocked LG V30+, for
now, the handset can be pre-ordered only via B&H, one of LG’s …
Right on time, today, OnePlus started selling its newest
flagship phone – the OnePlus 5T. The new handset comes in two variants: 6 GB of
RAM + 64 GB of storage space (priced at $499), and 8 GB of RAM + 128 GB of
storage space (priced at $559). Right now, in the US, the cheaper model can ship in
7 days, while the more expensive one has a 4-day shipping time. All orders
include free shipping, and “15-day no-hassle return.”
To celebrate the launch of its new phone, OnePlus has some
deals that fans can take advantage of. For example, you can get a OnePlus 5T
Protective Case and 3D Tempered …
Previously sold only by Sprint and US Cellular, the LG V30+
(or V30 Plus) is now ready to be released on T-Mobile – which, of course, is
already offering the regular LG V30.
T-Mobile will officially launch the LG V30+ on November 17
– that’s also the day when the carrier starts selling the rugged Samsung Galaxy
S8 Active. According to T-Mobile, the V30+ will be available in limited
quantities, costing $850 outright, or $130 down and $30 per month over 24
months. This makes the new handset $50 more expensive than the regular V30.
There are only two differences between the LG …
The serious side of mobile gaming
Razer, a leading gaming tech company, is ready to enter the busy smartphone marketplace with a product of its own. Its debut handset is called Razer Phone, and it is not your average smartphone. In typical Razer fashion, it promises a true spectacle.
Understated looks with no blinking RGB lights
The Razer Phone has a classic, rectangular design. Think the entire Sony Xperia series, or the Nextbit Robin from last year. There are no rounded corners to minimize the footprint here. Just an unapologetic, simple rectangle. If you hold the device in landscape …
Back in March, HMD Global (the new company that’s in charge
of selling Nokia-branded phones) unveiled a special edition of the mid-range
Nokia 6. Called Nokia 6 Arte Black, this special handset is coming to the US – several
months after the regular version of the phone was released stateside.
The Nokia 6 Arte Black is now listed on Amazon, HMD’s
official retail partner for the US. Unfortunately, the handset is
currently out of stock, with no word on exactly when it’s going to be available
(though soon is probably a good guess).
Amazon will sell the Nokia 6 Arte Black …
Gaming powerhouse Razer may have been working on a
smartphone for over a year, but, until now, it provided almost no details about
the device. Thankfully, the company is seemingly planning to unveil the handset
on November 1. This will be Razer’s very first smartphone, and it looks like
it’s going to be packed with high-end features.
According to a listing found at graphics benchmark developer
GFXBench, the Razer smartphone sports a 5.7-inch display with 1440 x 2560
pixels, thus it won’t have an 18:9 aspect ratio à la Samsung Galaxy S8 or LG
The upcoming handset …
Planning to buy a OnePlus 5 128 GB in the near future? You may want to do it before September 30, as OnePlus is currently throwing in a free pair of own-branded Bullets V2 headphones with handsets that are being bought until then.
Only the OnePlus 5 with 128 GB of storage space and 8 GB of RAM (priced at $539) is included in this deal. As for the OnePlus Bullets V2 headphones that are bundled with the smartphone, these normally cost $19.95 – it’s not an impressive gift by any means, but, hey, free stuff is always welcome.
As you may know, the …
Launched earlier this month in select markets, the Nokia 8
currently has only one official variant – featuring 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of
storage space. If you think that’s not enough, you should be happy to find out
that an upgraded Nokia 8 is coming soon. According to WinFuture, HMD Global
confirmed that a Nokia 8 with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage space will be
released on October 20 in Germany.
Just a couple of days ago, a Nokia 8 with 6 GB of RAM and
128 GB of storage space was spotted at the FCC (the US Federal Communication
Commission). This means that the handset could be …
