Moto G6, G6 Plus and G6 Play new leak leaves nothing to the imagination

The nearly full 2018 Motorola line-up has just recently leaked out in a show-breaker that Evan Blass, the most prolific phone leaker, classified as the most “thorough, early and potentially damaging to the company”.
Now, we get one more source that confirms that the leak is indeed trust-worthy as Chinese publication MySmartPrice has uncovered new leaked photos of the Moto G6 series that confirm what the first look already showed, but in more detail.
This latest leak confirms: Motorola will launch the Moto G6, Moto G6 Play and Moto G6 Plus soon, …

Motorola's new G6 lineup – Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus and Moto G6 Play, gets leaked

Motorola fans rejoice, as your favorite brand has quite a few surprises in store for you. Well, not anymore since they all ended up on the internet, but that no reason not to be excited, right?

There was no doubt that the G5 lineup will be followed by the G6, although some wondered if another G Play smartphone would be part of the new lineup once again. Well, apparently the answer is affirmative, at least according to some official (or not) images that have just leaked online. In fact, this is just a confirmation of what Evan Blass pointed out back in October.

LG G6 scheduled to receive Android 8.0 Oreo by February, but there's a catch

LG G6 is one of the many flagships that has yet to be updated to the most recent version of Android. Although the South Korean company promised to deliver Android Oreo to the LG G6 as fast as possible, it looks like the update won’t make it live until next year.

As some of you probably know by now, LG has already kicked off an Android Oreo beta program for the G6, but it’s only available in China. Now we have more information that indicates the Asian version of the LG G6 might be the first to receive the update.

According to LG Customer Service, an Android Ore update for the LG G6 …

Is the LG G6+ coming to AT&T and other US carriers next year?

The LG G6 is already available in the United States and customers can buy one from all major carriers, but the slightly improved version, the LG G6+ isn’t officially available for purchase in the country.

Of course, you could go ahead and buy the international version on Amazon, but that will not come with a warranty and it’s not even working with all US carriers, as you’ll only be able to use it on AT&T and T-Mobile.

However, it appears that an AT&T version of the LG G6+ that goes by model number H871U has just been spotted on LG’s open source website. The bad news is we …

Deal: Save $244 on an LG G6 from Verizon

The LG G6 may no longer be among the newest and hottest
smartphones on the market, but it’s still a nice and powerful device, with an up-to-date design.

Verizon Wireless currently has a pretty attractive deal for
customers willing to buy an LG G6 with a monthly device payment. The carrier is
offering the smartphone for $22 per month (instead of the original price of $28
per month), while also throwing in a $100 Visa Gift Card. This means that,
after 24 months, you’ll end up saving a total of $244 on the G6, basically paying
$428 instead of $672 for the handset.

Deal: Amazon Prime Exclusive LG Q6 and G6+ are on sale for up to 45% off

Many of the pre-Black Friday deals offer great prices on Samsung flagships, so here is something a bit different for those who can’t yet afford a top-tier smartphone.

Amazon has the LG Q6 and LG G6+ on sale for a limited time, but there’s a catch. The retailer discounts the Prime Exclusive versions of the smartphones only, so you’ll have to put up with offers and ads on these devices.

On the bright side, the LG Q6 is available for purchase for just $180, so you’ll be saving $120. The smartphone comes unlocked, so it will work on AT&T and T-Mobile networks, …

Deal: You can now grab an LG G6 for just $120 at Best Buy (Sprint model)

Looking at the price, it’s hard to believe that the LG G6 is a flagship launched this year. The smartphone is frequently available for purchase for less than $500 and, in some cases, even lower than $400.

It appears that the LG really wants to get rid of the G6, which wasn’t too popular among Android fans. That’s quite unfortunate since LG G6 is a decent device, so the only explanation could the fact that the competition offered much better products in the same price range.

So, the only thing that could make the LG G6 sell, would be to drop its price. That’s …

LG testing Android 8.0 (Oreo) for the LG G6?

A benchmark test run on Geekbench seems to indicate that LG is testing the new Android 8.0 (Oreo) build of the operating system on the LG G6. The unlocked international version of the phone with the model number of LG-H870, was benchmarked with Android 8.0 running the show. The LG G6 launched earlier this year with Android 7.0 Nougat pre-installed. The rest of the benchmark tests merely confirmed specs already known, since the phone was released on March 10th of this year.

It obviously isn’t a surprise that the LG G6 will be updated to the new Android build. After all, the phone is still …
