It was back in September, even before the iPhone X had hit the shelves, that we first heard about a potential 6″+ iPhone with LCD display, coming our way this year. Previously, even famed Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, had tipped that Apple will pull its OLED iPhone schedule forward a year, and all 2018 models would be equipped with such panels, out of Face ID, notch, and “all-screen” design considerations.
Samsung has just detailed a trove of intriguing new camera features of its newest ISOCELL camera sensors, which are quite likely making it to the upcoming Galaxy S9 and S9+ flagships. We’ve already explained at large how important the Galaxy S9/S9+ will be for mobile photography, but Samsung’s recent detailing of the camera sensor really turns up our expectations to 11.
For now, Florida is one of seven states that requires those texting while driving to have committed another infraction before being charged with distracted driving. But that is about to change. The Florida state legislature will soon discuss the possibilities of pushing through a bill that will make texting while driving a primary offense. That means that the cops will be able to nail someone behind the wheel who is texting even if they aren’t speeding, shifting lanes without flashing their signal, or driving a vehicle that doesn’t have a license.

Aside from the already unveiled Snapdragon 845 top-tier chipset, Qualcomm plans to launch at least three other SoCs (system on chip) in 2018: Snapdragon 679, 640 and 460.
Although this is the first time we hear about these three unannounced Qualcomm chipsets, we’ve been able to learn quite a lot of things about them thanks to an image published on Chinese social network Weibo.
The image contains in-depth details about the Snapdragon 845, 670, 640 and 460 chipsets, but the first one is of no concern to us since it has already been made official.
Samsung plans to refresh its lineup of cheap Android smartphones and the first to make its debut on the market is likely to be the Galaxy J2 (2018). Although it’s yet unclear when exactly the entry-level handset will be launched, we already know everything there is to know about the Galaxy J2 (2018).
Thanks to the folks over at Winfuture.de, we’ve learned Samsung’s cheap handset will be available for purchase in Europe for only €115. That’s quite a decent price considering the smartphone comes with a 5-inch Super AMOLED display with qHD (540 x 960 pixels) resolution.
