As we’re speaking, Samsung is getting ready to launch its next flagship phablet, the Galaxy Note 8, but that’s not the only mobile device the company will be presenting soon. We’ve also been hearing rumors of a successor to the company’s Gear Fit 2 for quite some time now — in fact, we’ve already seen leaked renders and specs of the device.
So, Google finally launched Android 8 and revealed its name — as the fans have been speculating for years now, the O build of Android is named after the popular Oreo cookies. And what better way to celebrate the OS update than with a bunch of Oreos handed out at the announcement event?
Actually, make them custom cookies while you’re at it. Yup, Google ordered a special batch of Oreos for the launch event — ones with the Android mascot engraved on the cookie and the cream changed to green, instead of being white. We can only hope that it was the same sweet stuff and not, say, wasabi or something …
Every half a year or so, manufacturers like to hold long and elaborate events on which they would announce their hottest new products. Flagships, top-tier devices, wearables, and any breakthrough tech gets revealed and hype (or sometimes cringe) is being built.
These are usually held in front of an audience of invitees, but will also be streamed live for the world to see. But hey, they are usually one-hour events, and not everyone has time to sit around. Especially since the most important new information spreads through the Internet like wildfire. All you need …
The event will start on August 23rd, 2017 at:

As you may know, Samsung will unveil the Note 8 during a special event in New York. Most of us won’t be able to make it to the venue, but the South Korean manufacturer is making sure that anyone interested will be able to watch the show …
It’s been almost a month since Samsung sent out an invitation for its Unpacked event to be held on the 23rd of August. The image back then depicted a Galaxy Note 8 silhouette with an S Pen pointing towards it. Pretty obvious who the star of the event is going to be, right?
Now, Sammy has posted a video on its YouTube channel, basically teasing the Note 8 further. The clip basically throws a number of inspirational words like “leap”, “innovate”, and “bigger” at us, then finishes up with the same silhouette from the invitation. The supplied text reminds us of the …
According to a new invitation sent out by Motorola in Brazil, the company will hold an event in Sao Paulo at 10am on August 24th, 2017. Unfortunately, the invite doesn’t specifically mention which model or models will be introduced on that date. One possibility is the Moto X4. The latest rumored specs include a 5.2-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 (FHD). Under the hood will be the Snapdragon 630 SoC carrying an octa-core CPU, and the Adreno 508 GPU.
In North America, Latin America, and Europe, the Moto X4 will be equipped with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage. In the Asia …
We only know that the Essential Phone actually exists, but no one can buy one yet. Even though Andy Rubin promised its smartphone will be launched on the market one or two weeks after being officially unveiled, it looks like the Essential Phone has a two months delay.
A couple of days ago, Essential’s officials confirmed their smartphone is already in full mass-production and that they plan to announce when it will go on sale next week.
We now have information that suggests Essential will be hosting a “First Look” event where people will be able to see and try the Essential Phone …
On Monday, LG officially confirmed that it’s going to announce its V30 smartphone on August 31 – just as expected. What you may not know is that LG will be streaming the V30 event live.

For the US, this means 03:00 a.m. ET (Eastern Time), or 12:00 a.m. PT (Pacific Time) – if you’re an LG fan, you’ll just have to stay …
Walmart’s membership warehouse club, Sam’s, is offering a deal on the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8+ for its one-day Fall Preview Event taking place on August 5th. Buy either handset in-club from Sam’s, and you’ll receive a $350 gift card. Sam’s says that this is the highest valued gift card ever offered for the Galaxy S8. And if you made it to school on the day they taught subtraction, you should be able to figure out that this makes the deal one of the best non-BOGO offers for the flagship device. The activation fee will be waived with the purchase of either model.
If you’ve …

Camera Mod which launched today, and the Moto Gamepad, which is said to launch later
