Honor 9 slowly makes its way to European markets

Introduced in China less than two weeks ago, the Honor 9 is likely to make its debut in Europe in the coming weeks. The high-end smartphone was recently spotted at various major retailers across The Old Continent.

Unfortunately, neither of these retailers mention when the Honor 9 will actually hit the shelves. Although some of them allow customers to pre-order the smartphone, a few of them pulled the listing of the Honor 9.

Archos unveils four new Android smartphones for the European market

French Android OEM Archos has just announced the upcoming availability of four new smartphones for the European market: Diamond Gamma, Diamond Alpha, Sense 55S, and Sense 50X.

All four will be launched on the market this summer during of the month of July. The most expensive of the four, Archos Diamond Alpha will cost €299 (after a cash discount of €50), while the Archos Sense 55S will be available for purchase for €249 outright.

Deal: Buy the LG G6 and get a free LG K8 (2017) in some European markets

As we noted earlier today, LG has begun to roll its new G6 smartphone out to consumers across Europe and in some markets, the company is throwing in its mid-range K8 for good measure. In Spain, Germany and Romania, some buyers of the LG G6 will also receive the LG K8 (2017), which could potentially be passed on as a gift or used as a backup handset.

LG has rather a tough time competing in the premium smartphone marketplace, such is the dominance of Apple and Samsung.
