Samsung Store drops prices on carrier Galaxy S9/S9+ to unlocked levels, cuts more off AT&T models

The online Samsung Store today has given U.S. consumers a reason not to buy the Samsung Galaxy S9 or Samsung Galaxy S9+ from their wireless providers. Sammy has lowered the price of carrier branded variants of its 2018 flagship phones to match the price of the U.S. unlocked versions. Since Verizon and AT&T each tacked on approximately $80 to the price of the Galaxy S9, and $90 to the price of the Galaxy S9+, this represents a small but much appreciated savings.

So the new pricing from the Samsung Store has the Galaxy S9 (U.S. carrier or U.S. unlocked) available for $719.99, and the Galaxy …

Verizon follows AT&T's move, drops plans to sell the Huawei Mate 10 Pro

Wireless network provider Verizon is not going to sell the upcoming Huawei Mate 10 Pro. This unexpected decision has to do with the U.S. government, according to people familiar with the matter.

Earlier this month, AT&T abandoned plans to offer the Huawei Mate 10 Pro to subscribers after members of the congress, with the help of federal regulators, stood against it. Verizon has been going through the same thing, after dropping plans to sell the Chinese flagship to the U.S. audience. That means only channel left for Huawei to distribute its newest device is …

Convicted drug smuggler Schapelle Corby drops dance track and well, it's terrible

TwitterFacebook

Convicted Australian drug smuggler Schapelle Corby spent 13 years in Bali after being found guilty of bringing, oh, 4.2 kilograms of marijuana into Indonesia.

And now, she’s dropped a dance single.

The 40-year-old Queensland local posted the joke song, dubbed “Palm Trees,” on Instagram on Monday. She’s teamed up with music producer Nat Zeleny for the track, on which Corby provides chorus vocals.

The video currently has 58.5K views, for some reason. Unsurprisingly not available on Spotify, iTunes or Apple Music, “Palm Trees” is the dumb summer track you wish you’d never heard. Read more…
