Netflix adds HDR and Dolby Vision support for iPhone X, iPhone 8/8 Plus and iPad Pro

Netflix introduced HDR streaming for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 early this month, a little bit more than a week ahead of its official launch on the market. Since Apple’s new iPhones have been recently announced, it makes perfect sense for the company to offer the same level of streaming experience to Apple fans.

All phones certified by Netflix for HDR and Dolby Vision video streaming

Netflix just updated its mobile HDR and Dolby Vision streaming list with the newly-announced Android phones capable of reproducing those titles in their due gorgeousness. The iPhone 8, and perhaps the other two upcoming iPhones, were listed by the firmware to record 60FPS 4K video with both …

If you happen to own a Nokia 5, then chances are you’re being affected by a strange issue that prevents the smartphone from opening the Dolby Equalizer settings from certain music apps.

Many Nokia 5 users have noticed that when they try to open the Equalizer app from Google Play Music or Spotify, they get a white screen instead of the audio settings.

Although Dolby Equalizer does work when not specifically opened from those two apps (maybe others too), HMD Global has already acknowledged the problem and said they are already working on a fix.

For those who would still want …
