Kate McKinnon debuts pitch perfect Julian Assange impression on 'Saturday Night Live'

TwitterFacebook

Saturday Night Live took us behind the scenes in its cold open tonight of a totally plausible meeting between Julian Assange and the Brothers Trump in the first installment of what we can only hope will be many, many more episodes of “The Mueller Files.”

Kate McKinnon debuted her expert Assange impression – reason enough to hope for more – replete with a suspicion-inducing pleather jacket and weird white-blonde haircut.

“It’s not white, it’s a platinum bob with a man’s front wisp.” Sorry, Julian.

Anyway, the meeting, which ostensibly took place between Assange and Donald Trump Jr. (Mikey Day) in the basement of the Ecuadorian embassy in London – where the real Assange has been holed up since 2012 avoiding extradition to Sweden to face sexual assault charges – was crashed by a delightfully inept Eric Trump (Alex Moffat), who did just about everything he could to blow the clandestine convention. Lucky users have already got their hands on the iPhone X, but meanwhile, developers are working hard on updating their apps to support the mold-breaking 2:1 display of the device, which is a first for Apple.

Once you update the YouTube app on your iPhone X to v12.43, you will be able to simply pinch …

Samsung debuts Bixby early access program in the U.S.

Samsung is still trying to bring the full Bixby experience to users outside its home turf, but things don’t seem to be working well for the South Korean company. Reports coming from the international media claim Bixby is having trouble comprehending English syntax and grammar.

Because of that, Samsung won’t be able to launch English-language Bixby in the United States until late June, the same reports say. Until then, Galaxy S8 and S8+ owners in the U.S. are given the option to try out Bixby before the digital assistant gets released in the country.
