Poll results: David XZ2 Compact is as strong as Goliath XZ2

As always, Sony has released a duo of flagships. A “regular”-sized one and a mini edition for the fans of phones that can be used with just one hand. For years now, Sony’s Compact series has successfully filled the niche for flagship devices in a small body… And by that, we mean the Xperias are the only representatives for this niche on the Android side. Usually, there’s some corner-cutting involved, sometimes plastic is chosen instead of metal, but that’s to be expected.

With the Xperia XZ2 and Xperia XZ2 Compact, we have the least amount of differences between the two phones …

David Harbour is as smooth as butter in this hilarious Super Bowl ad for Tide

What with that whole weird pod-eating trend that’s been skyrocketing among teenagers lately, it’s been something of a tricky year so far for Tide.

They needed a good, solid Super Bowl ad to really give them that laundry-fresh start.

Well, with David Harbour in the driving seat, they seem to have chosen wisely.

In the advert above, Harbour and his silky smooth voice breeze through a bunch of stock scenes while poking fun at various commercial stereotypes.

It’s that slow motion shot of him bouncing on a mattress with white roses that really makes it, though. Read more…

'Stranger Things' star David Harbour blesses teen's senior portraits with his presence

Burn your senior portraits. They’ll never live up to these.

Twitter user @postydemaris put her fellow classmates (and, frankly, all of us) to shame when she secured Stranger Things star David Harbour for a guest role in her high school senior portraits.

This is a story two months in the making.

Back in October, @postydamaris reached out to Harbour (who stars as Jim Hopper in the beloved Netflix series) via Twitter to ask his price for an appearance in her photoshoot. Within 20 minutes, he responded: “25k. And I get to wear the school sweatshirt and hold a trombone.” Read more…

Larry David suits up again as Bernie Sanders for Celebrity Price is Right on 'SNL'

Look. This Saturday Night Live sketch isn’t the greatest. But it does have two high points.

The first is guest host Larry David, who revives his pitch-perfect Bernie Sanders impression (and makes lots of 2016 election jokes at Bernie’s expense).

The second is Alec Baldwin, who pops up as an even more perfect Tony Bennett. Even better, Baldwin-as-Bennett is really interested in hawking anti-diarrhea medication. When all else fails, toilet humor got your back.

It’s also hard not to chuckle when musical guest Miley Cyrus, who appears as a non-celebrity contestant alongside Alex Moffat-as-Chris Hemsworth, gets a visit from her IRL squeeze and Second-Best Chris brother, Liam Hemsworth. Read more…

We’re less than a month away from the Google I/O’s debut, and just when the Mountain View company needed more unity considering its plans for the smartphone industry, a prominent exec has left the search giant.

At Google, Foster was VP of hardware product and was directly responsible for the company’s Pixel division. He worked on the current Pixel phones and Home speaker. …

Sir David Attenborough comes in VR to tell you about rocks and minerals

When you think of a person with deep, soothing voice that resonates with everything inside of you, you either think of Morgan Freeman or your father. Unless you grew up in Britain. In the UK, ‘God’s voice’ person would be Sir David Attenborough, hands down. This man has talked about more rocks than there are rocks on this planet, on more media platforms than most contemporary pop stars, with voice – certainly more beautiful and dreamy than most of said stars’. Iconic British naturalist, Sir Attenborough is now also going to star as a hologram in a VR experience, called ‘Hold …
