OnePlus giving some fans the chance to test (and win) the OnePlus 6 before launch

OnePlus continues to take fans feedback to heart and is now giving them the chance to test the OnePlus 6 and provide their opinions before the smartphone’s launch on the market. Through a special program called The Lab, OnePlus fans can sign up for a chance to check out the OnePlus 6 and, if they’re good at testing, they might get to keep the smartphone after the program ends.

The program is only available in those countries where OnePlus officially sells its smartphones, such as the US, UK, Canada, Germany, and India, but anyone can sign up for a chance to test the OnePlus 6 (you’ll have …

'Fortnite' contest gives fans a chance to get their favorite dance into the game

In case you slept on the overnight sensation, Fortnite is the latest “battle royale” game to take over. Now, the #boogiedown competition is inviting fans to dance their way into the game itself.

Epic Games announced the competition with the help of two huge names in the Fortnite community: competitive player and Team SoloMid Fortnite captain, Myth, and popular streamer Ceez. They busted out some moves, encouraging others to join and share their own videos with the #boogiedown hashtag for a shot at the grand prize: having your dance digitally immortalized as an emote in the game. Fortnite for iOS rolling out slowly: register here for a chance at early access

Fortnite has taken the gaming community by storm and doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. It was originally a zombie survivor / 3rd person shooter / tower defense mix that was pretty fun in its own right but wasn’t exactly blowing up. Then, the developer — Epic Games — decided it wanted a piece of that Battle Royale pie. You know — the genre that became massively popular thanks to PUBG (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds). So, Fortnite launched its own Battle Royale mode, which was separate from the main game and free to play.

With the development prowess of a major studio like Epic Games, …

Allo is a quality app, but Google isn't giving it a real chance

To say that Google has had a confused and confusing strategy with its communication apps is something of an understatement. For a while, it looked as though Hangouts would be the focus of Google’s efforts — it had messaging, voice chat, group video chat, and it was available across mobile and desktop platforms. Then Google decided to blow it up.

Now, Google has pushed Hangouts towards enterprise users and split it into Meet and Chat. The idea was for Hangouts Meet to be the group video app and Chat to be the text messaging app, although in practice Chat still doesn’t exist as a standalone …

Citi analysts say that there's a 4-in-10 chance that Apple buys Netflix

Apple is sitting with a vault so full of money that even Scrooge McDuck is jealous. Every now and then, Apple uses some of this money to make a small acquisition. For example, the company recently took $400 million out of petty cash to buy music discovery app Shazam. The largest acquisition that Apple has made by itself is the $3 billion it spent to purchase Beats Audio. But if a pair of Citi analysts are correct, there is a chance that Apple will top that record by a factor of approximately 34.

According to Citi analysts Jim Suva and Asiya Merchant, there is a 40% possibility that Apple …

Deal: Perhaps your last chance to score an LTE-ready Wear24 smartwatch for just $80

Verizon didn’t seem to like its own smartwatch, otherwise, we can’t explain why the carrier discontinued the Wear24 four months after it went on sale. Initially launched for $350, the price for the Android Wear 2.0 smartwatch quickly dropped to unbelievable values.

In the last two months, several retailers sold the LTE-ready Wear24 for just $80, nearly 80% less than the original price. If you missed those deals, you have one more chance to score a good deal if you really want an Android Wear smartwatch.

Up on eBay, a retailer is selling the Wear24 for $79.97 …

Chance the Rapper wants this holiday song to make him the Mariah Carey of Thanksgiving

In the spirit of giving, Chance the Rapper wants to make a truckload of money from a hit holiday song. Won’t you please help him?

In his first act as the host of Saturday Night Live, Chance dedicated a new song to the “outcasts and weirdos” in every family this holiday season — like Leslie Jones’ Aunt Shevonne, whose purse gun makes everyone uncomfortable.

Like the best SNL monologue songs, this one involves just about the full cast. Chance also decided to throw in some live turkeys, to show he’s not taking this lightly.

You’ll help Chance make millions of dollars off of this one song about a holiday, won’t you? Read more…

Chance the Rapper performs hilarious song on 'SNL' begging President Obama to return

“This time of year I get thankful baby, thankful for you. But now you’re gone and I don’t know what to do.”

What an emotional love song. A tribute to a great relationship after a bad breakup. Some girl somewhere is going to be really sorry she ended things with De-Von-Tré, the hot new combo comprised of SNL’s Kenan Thompson, Chris Redd, and guest host Chance the Rapper.

“So come back, Barack.”

Or, what? Yeah.

The world is on the verge of nuclear war, and former president Barack Obama is out here living his Best Life. We’re here crying ourselves to sleep, and he’s water skiing and showing us how in love with Michelle he is, and everything sucks. Read more…

So, given the chance, would you buy the resurrected Samsung Galaxy Note FE?

So much noise for a phone that was considered dead, wouldn’t you say? Yeah, we are talking about the Galaxy Note 7. A handset that tripped on launch not once but twice and Samsung pulled the plug on the entire thing before any more embarrassing situations occurred. However, in recent months, we’ve been hearing that the Note 7 is getting its 3rd stab at being a phone that actually exists. Now called the Note FE (fan edition), it comes with a slightly smaller battery, but every bit as much swag as before.

Now, we’ve asked you this before, when not much was known about the device, and all we …
