Drake just paid for a bunch of people's groceries so, uh, they can thank him now

TwitterFacebook

Drake’s been on a major generosity kick while filming his music video for “God’s Plan,” and fans are loving him for it.

For the rapper’s latest good deed, he dropped in on some unsuspecting shoppers at a Miami supermarket and, you know, casually spent over $50,000 paying for strangers’ groceries. No big deal.

Drake reportedly visited the Sabor Tropical Supermarket at around 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, according to E! News, and announced via megaphone that he’d be covering the costs of everyone shopping in the store.

“No one knew he was coming at all, we just came to do groceries. Cameras were being set up so we were all wondering what was to happen,” Guille Deza, a shopper told E! News. Read more…

A bunch of cool indie games are coming to the super-powerful Xbox One X

TwitterFacebook

Microsoft’s new piece of hardware may have been the highlight of their briefing this afternoon in Los Angeles for E3, but there were plenty of games to back up what would otherwise just be a cold slab of metal. Especially indie games.

The Darwin Project

A battle royale-style, multiplayer survival game set in a snowy landscape.

Black Desert

An action-heavy, fantasy-set MMO.

The Last Night

A two-dimensional, cyberpunk open-world game with four districts in four distinct styles to explore. Half action, half stealth platformer.

The Artful Escape

This one is apparently a little bit of everything. From the developers, “The Artful Escape of Francis Vendetti is a video game about great expectations, famous folk singers, lingering shadows, space Gods, hallucinogens, individuality, reptile shops, and wild imaginations. It’s an action, adventure, exploration, narrative driven, musical-laser-light-battle kind of game.” Read more…
