Archos intros two new ruggedized Android Nougat smartphones and a tablet

French company Archos showcased three new mobile devices at IFA 2017 early this month. Two Android smartphones and a tablet will be launched on the market this fall, all three within the €280 price mark.

Besides the fact that they’re shipped with Android Nougat on board, all three devices are aimed at outdoor use, thus they have various certifications for water and dust proof.

Archos unveils four new Android smartphones for the European market

French Android OEM Archos has just announced the upcoming availability of four new smartphones for the European market: Diamond Gamma, Diamond Alpha, Sense 55S, and Sense 50X.

All four will be launched on the market this summer during of the month of July. The most expensive of the four, Archos Diamond Alpha will cost €299 (after a cash discount of €50), while the Archos Sense 55S will be available for purchase for €249 outright.

The ARCHOS 50 Graphite comes with a 5-inch 720p display, 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage (expandable via a microSD card), 13-megapixel main shooter with a secondary 2-megapixel unit and a 5-megapixel selfie shooter on the front.

ARCHOS 55 Graphite

The ARCHOS 55 Graphite comes with an aluminum unibody sporting a 5.5-inch 720p screen, 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage (expandable via a microSD card), 13-megapixel main camera with a secondary 2-megapixel unit on the back and a 5-megapixel selfie camera with flash.
