The photograph that accompanies this story, and almost looks like the OnePlus 3T except with a vertical dual-camera setup on back, is not the OnePlus 5. So why are we showing it to you? Because according to the source of the image, it is a prototype for the OnePlus 5 and can give us some idea of how the final version is going to look. Besides the addition of the dual-cameras, there seems to be more space between the three-way switch and the volume rocker on the left side of the phone.

Latest OnePlus 5 render shows off-center dual camera setup; phone appears on AnTuTu

Another day, another render of the OnePlus 5 has been posted. The latest image of the eagerly awaited handset allegedly shows the back of the device with an off-center horizontally placed dual-camera setup. Other renders have shown vertically positioned dual cameras in the middle of the rear cover. The new render also tells us to expect the fingerprint scanner to be embedded in the home button under the front glass.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) was spotted on GFXBench in February wearing model number SM-J727A. Now, the phone has made a return trip to GFXBench with a new model number (SM-J730) and some slightly better specs. According to the latest GFXBench listing, the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) will feature a 5.5-inch display with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. The Exynos 7870 SoC is under the hood carrying an octa-core 1.5GHz CPU, and the Mali-T830 GPU. 3GB of RAM is inside along with 16GB of native storage. Both the back and front-facing cameras weigh in at 12MP each, and Android 7.0 is pre-installed.

Clumsy flagship phone owners will be happy to know that the rugged Samsung Galaxy S8 Active is on the way. A User Agent String reveals the model number SM-G892A, which is believed to be the AT&T exclusive. The Galaxy S8 Active has been rumored to have received certification for MIL-STD-810G standard compliance, which means that it can survive falls and drops that would wipe out other handsets. It also carries an IP68 certification rating for prrotection from dust and water.

Alcatel Idol 5 appears on GFXBench one again, this time with a slight change

The unannounced Alcatel Idol 5 (Alcatel 6060) has appeared on GFXBench two times this year. The first time was last month, and the second time is today. Both appearances show that the phone will feature a 5.2-inch display carrying a 1080 x 1920 resolution (FHD), 32GB of native storage, a 12MP rear-facing camera and an 8MP selfie shooter. The earlier GFXBench post showed the Snapdragon 625 chipset running the show with an octa-core 2.0GHz CPU and the Adreno 506 GPU.

Moto X (2017) variant appears online as model number XT1805; device sports 4GB of RAM

We have previously shown you images of a phone that is allegedly the Motorola Moto X (2017). With the model number XT1801, the device is rumored to carry a 5.5-inch display featuring a resolution of 1080 x 1920 (FHD). A Snapdragon 625 chipset powers the unit with 3GB of RAM inside. Today, another variant of the Moto X (2017) has surfaced, this one sporting the model number XT1805 and featuring 4GB of RAM. There is a 3.5mm headphone jack on the top of the device, a fingerprint scanner in front and the front-facing selfie snapper has a flash of its very own.

Samsung Galaxy S8+ prototype with vertical dual cameras on back appears once more

Earlier this month, we passed along a photo showing a Samsung model with a vertically placed dual camera setup on the back. This was alleged to be a prototype of the Samsung Galaxy S8+. Apparently, Sammy had it in mind to include the two snappers on the rear of its premium flagship unit. Today, a new leak has surfaced once again, showing the same phone. What looks like an oddly placed fingerprint scanner on back could be merely the reflection from a flash.

Out of nowhere, a wild Samsung Galaxy S8 in Purple appears!

Recently, we learned that the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ are supposedly being prepared in four color variants – Blue, Gray, Black, and Silver. But earlier this month, word got out that Samsung is making a Puprle version as well. And leakster @kksneaksleaks has managed to get to it, posting four photos of the Milka-colored Galaxy S8 on Twitter.

What we’re seeing is completely consistent with all the previous leaks available, so truthfully, there isn’t much to reflect on. If the late, great Prince lived today, he would have pre-ordered this Galaxy S8.

Flagship spec'd LG phone appears on Geekbench, heading to U.S. Cellular

A new flagship LG handset was discovered on Geekbench this morning. Based on the model number (LGE LGUS997), this is a device that is headed to the 5th largest carrier in the states, U.S. Cellular. The Snapdragon 820 chipset is under the hood. U.S. Cellular does offer two different handsets made by LG that feature the Snapdragon 820 SoC. One is the LG V20 and the other is the LG G5. So the question is whether we are looking at one of those two models, or a new handset altogether.
