Alcatel didn’t hold back anything during its MWC 2018 press conference, where they announced a slew of brand new devices. Positioned as the mid-tier in its lineup, the trio that makes up the new Alcatel 3 series offer considerable value when you factor in their designs and features. The Alcatel 3 has a 5.5-inch, 18:9 screen with a resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels. It’s powered by the quad-core, 1.28 GHz MediaTek 6739 SoC and has 16 GB of memory (expandable via microSD) and 2 GB of RAM. A 3,000 mAh battery keeps the lights on and the software on board is Android 8 Oreo.

The Alcatel 1x sports a 5.3-inch, IPS display, quad-core processor and 16 GB expandable storage. There is an 8-megapixel autofocus camera on the back, as well as 5-megapixel front shooter with flash. The phone is powered by 2460 mAh battery and runs Android Oreo 8.1.
