Following up on the affordable Tempo phone it released last year, the second largest non-contract smartphone supplier in the US – ZTE – is now launching the upgraded Tempo X. The screen has grown to 5 inches this time, from 4.5″ in the Tempo, but the X is still a very manageable compact handset.
A few days ago, we reported that Xiaomi is planning to announce an entirely new lineup of phones on September 5. Based on the teasers released at the time, our guess was that the Chinese manufacturer planned to introduce the next Android One phone, a fruit of its collaboration with Google.

ZTE has recently gained a lot of popularity for offering some of the best budget handsets on the market right now. And while last year’ Axon 7 flagship did a lot to strengthen that image, ZTE has been consistently putting out a lot of other, lower-profile devices. And this is exactly what we’re witnessing today: the launch of the company’s latest ultra cheap device, known as the ZTE Blade Z Max.
UPDATE: T-Mobile actually got onto the leak thread, and revealed all the pricing and release information about the Revvl, which you can see in the screenshot below.
T-Mobile is gearing up to announce one of its most affordable yet pleasant to look at burners smartphones lately, the Revvl T1, and leave it to famed Evan Blass leaker to prostrate its chops in a real photo of the device so budget phone makers know what they will be up against.

Also, the affordable smartphone will sport a 5-inch display and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The …

Now, the cat is out of the bag and the Alpha is up for pre-sale. …
Rumors about a very cheap Nougat-powered phone that will hit the shelves at T-Mobile emerged back in April. A new affordable smartphone called Coolpad Defiant was tipped to arrive at the Uncarrier at some point, but we haven’t heard anything about it until today.
T-Mobile and Coolpad have just confirmed that the long-rumored Defiant will be launched in the United States on June 16. Moreover, MetroPCS will offer the smartphone this summer as well, but no info on the exact release date has been given yet.
Although it’s capable of running Android 7.0 Nougat …
