Social media app Instagram announced today that users can now employ face filters while sharing live video. Among the selections you can choose from is a new sunglasses filter which will be exclusively available for live video over the next week. OnePlus has just announced a new software update is available for its last year flagships, the OnePlus 3 and 3T, but only in the open beta channel. Even so, it shouldn’t take the Chinese company more than a week to make it available to everyone owning one of the two smartphones.

Verizon subscribers who own the BlackBerry Priv are currently receiving an update with the software build of AAN368. The update fixes unnamed issues that have been affecting the device, optimizes the phone’s performance, and adds the latest Android security patch to the handset. Pre-paid carrier Virgin Mobile announced its new iPhone-only plan back in June. Called the Inner Circle, customers purchasing an iPhone from Virgin receive one-year of unlimited talk, text and high-speed data for $1. After the year is up, members of the Inner Circle pay $50 a month to keep the unlimited data plan going. This includes receiving streaming video at 480p (DVD quality), and streaming music at a rate up to 500 kbps. Cloud gaming streams at 2 mbps. OnePlus has just released an important update for the OnePlus 3 and 3T, which removes a couple of features and adds new ones. A handful of bug fixes and improvements have been implemented as well, but let’s start with what’s been removed.
