Surprisingly, Nokia 6 2nd Generation gets Android 8.0 Oreo at first boot

We already know HMD Global is pretty fast when it comes to software update, but we didn’t think it’s that fast. A few days ago, the Finnish company added a new device to its portfolio of smartphones available in China, the Nokia 6 2nd Generation (or Nokia 6 2018).

HTC apologizes for delaying Android 8.0 Oreo update for U11 in Europe

The US version of HTC U11 has already been updated to Android 8.0 Oreo for more than a month now. Unfortunately, customers who bought the smartphone from other regions will have to wait a while longer for the update.

Huawei P10 and P10 Plus Android 8.0 Oreo beta testing program launched

Huawei is working to bring Android Oreo to as many of its previous flagships as possible. The Mate 9 and Mate 9 Pro are the last Huawei devices that received the update, so it’s time for the Chinese giant to focus on other smartphones in its portfolio.

Galaxy S8 Android 8.0 Oreo beta program ends January 15th, public update could roll by end of January

Samsung rolled out the first Android 8.0 Oreo update public beta for the Galaxy S8 and S8+ in early November, and it’s now been two months since it’s been beta-testing the update. Asus starts pushing out Android 8.0 Oreo for ZenFone 4

Asus has just announced that it has started the roll-out of Android 8.0 Oreo update for its newest flagship, the ZenFone 4. The update is pushed out FOTA (firmware over the air), but if you do no get it, you can manually look for it by heading to Settings / About / System Update.
