ZTE’s smartwatch, the Quartz was launched at T-Mobile more than six months ago, as cheap alternatives to Samsung’s Gear S3 and LG’s wearable devices. For less than $200, you could buy the ZTE Quartz, a smartwatch that doesn’t feature NFC (Near Field Communications), light sensor, or at least a heart sensor.

Well, the good news is ZTE Quartz comes with Android Wear 2.0 right out of the box, so you’ll most likely benefit from the latest features introduced by Google. The T-Mobile version of the smartwatch includes DIGITS, which allows users to pair their numbers with …

Sony Xperia XZ1 is already $50 cheaper in the US

It’s not often that a flagship smartphone gets a price cut
shortly after its official launch, and yet this is exactly what happened with
the Sony Xperia XZ1. Available in the US since a few weeks ago, the
Xperia XZ1 can now be bought starting at $649 – $50 off its $699 launch
price.

This lower price makes the Sony Xperia XZ1 only $50 more
expensive than the smaller (but still powerful) Xperia XZ1 Compact, which was
released last week for $599.

At the moment, only the black and blue versions of the
Xperia XZ1 are offered for $649. If you want to get the handset …

Has more than a year gone by since Snapchat parent Snap introduced its first hardware product? You bet it has. The plastic sunglasses that records and shares up to 30-seconds of video at a time has sold 50% more units than the company’s target. The in-house target was to sell 100,000 Spectacles over the year.

iPhone X pre-orders might break the 50 million mark

Of the three new iPhones that Apple revealed on September 12, the most interesting model – the iPhone X – isn’t available to buy yet, and won’t be launched before early November. The completely new design of the iPhone X seems to be making many customers pass on the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus (both available to buy since September 22). Ultimately, this should be a good thing for Apple.

According to well connected analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities, pre-orders for the iPhone X could reach over 50 million units, despite the handset’s high prices – $999 for the …

September 29th update coming to Super Mario Run brings new new character, new world and 50% off deal

Remember last December when Nintendo released the Super Mario Run game for iOS? On March 22nd of this year, the game was made available for Android users. For a period of time following the launch of the game on each platform, there was a flurry of activity as fans of Nintendo in general, and Mario is particular, installed the app. The game is free, by the way, but that gives you only limited game play. It costs $9.99 if you want to unlock the entire game.

While the excitement of Super Mario Run has died down, Nintendo is hoping to raise the “thrill” level with an update to both the iOS …
