YotaPhone 3 goes official with mid-range specs, pre-orders start in early September for $360

The sequel to the YotaPhone 2 was mysteriously introduced back in June at the China-Russia exhibition in Harbin, but the company behind the device was pretty vague about its specs and availability.

Today, the dual-screen YotaPhone 3 was formally introduced in China where the phone will be available for $360 and $460, respectively. Chinese retailer JD.com will start taking pre-orders for the smartphone on September 5, whereas the YotaPhone 3 will hit the shelves on September 18.

Deal: Samsung Gear 360 (first-generation) costs less than $100 on Amazon

The original Samsung Gear 360 camera has been discounted quite a few times since its launch on the market. However, I can’t remember a promotion that would offer Samsung 360-degree camera for less than $100.

According to Amazon, the first-generation Samsung Gear 360 is now available for purchase for just $99.99, which means you’ll be saving no less than $250 when you buy the camera.

Although Amazon claims the Samsung Gear 360 sells for $349.99, few retailers in the United States still offer the camera for such a high price. Still, getting it for less …

Motorola decides to roll out Android Wear 2.0 for Moto 360 Sport

Motorola has just announced that one of its smartwatches, the Moto 360 Sport will finally receive the long-awaited Android Wear 2.0 update. After updating the second-generation Moto 360 back in May, Motorola backtrack on its plans to leave the Moto 360 Sport without the update.

Unfortunately, the Moto 360 Sport did not sell well at all, which forced Motorola to pull the smartwatch from Google Play Store. That’s the main reason Android Wear 2.0 was delayed until now, and probably why Motorola was considering not offering the update at all.

Today, the US-based …

Moto 360 camera: a pricey new Moto Mod with 4K video and immersive 3D audio capture

Motorola just announced a brand new Moto Mod alongside its Moto Z2 Force Edition flagship. The latest member of the snap-on accessory line is a 360 camera, capable of recording video in 4K.

So, how does it differentiate itself from competitors like Samsung’s Gear 360? Well, the fact that it’s a module has many advantages – it can be connected via pins to compatible Moto Z handsets, which enables users to store videos and photos directly on their smartphones. This also allows for a more compact size, since there’s no need for a separate battery or memory …

Deal: Samsung Galaxy S8 is on sale for as low as $360, here are all the deals

It appears that Samsung has decided to ante up the game a bit, as it tries to boost Galaxy S8 sales, which are already looking better than the predecessor. Many promotional offers have been introduced in the United States in the last few weeks, which allowed Samsung fans to get the company’s flagship much cheaper.

Earlier this week, Samsung debuted an attractive deal on the Galaxy S8, mainly aimed at those who want to purchase two phones, but pay just for one. But if you considered the deal unworthy, here is one that might appeal to your budget.

Take a look at the Moto 360 Camera Mod, already unveiled in Ghana

Earlier today, at an event in Ghana, West Africa, Motorola introduced its Moto Z handsets, the Moto C and some other models. At the same time, the company introduced the Moto 360 Camera Moto Mod for the Moto Z and Moto Z2 line. As you can tell from the name, this is a camera allowing users to take images and videos for a panoramic view. Like all Moto Mods, the accessory attaches to the back of a Moto Z or Moto Z2 handset using magnets and the 16 pins found on the back rear of the phone.

Tipster Evan Blass tweeted a picture of the modular accessory this morning. It shows a white dimpled back …

Motorola confirms Android Wear 2.0 is coming to the Moto 360 2nd Gen “as early as today”

The original Moto 360 is one of the few popular smartwatches that won’t be getting the new Android Wear 2.0 update, Motorola announced last year.

The bad news is the sequel to the Moto 360 hasn’t yet received the update, even though many other less popular smartwatches have already been upgraded to Android Wear 2.0. However, the situation is about to change if we are to believe the latest statement coming directly from Motorola.

As some of you probably know by know by now, Motorola promised to push the Android Wear 2.0 update to the Moto 360 2nd Gen in “late …
