AT&T expected to offer prepaid iPhone 6s for just $300

It looks like AT&T has decided to kick it up a notch when it comes to iPhone offerings. The US carrier plans to start selling the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus for more than decent prices.

The folks over at 9to5Mac got word that AT&T will offer prepaid iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus for $344.9 and $444.99, respectively. The deal will be available on AT&T’s $45/month plan, but the price includes the cost of the first month, which reduces the price of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus to $300 and $400.

On New Year’s Day 2018, Apple set a record for the most revenue earned by the App Store in one day. Just a few days ago, on January 1st, the App Store brought in $300 million in gross revenue. During the seven days that started on Christmas Day, the App Store took in an amazing $890 million. Since the launch of the store in July 2008, Apple has paid out $86 billion to developers for their share of paid apps and subscriptions purchased through the App Store.

One month ago, Verizon kicked off a promotion meant to attract more people into buying Google’s latest flagships, the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. Basically, the carried shaved $300 off the smartphones’ MSRP, but only if you purchased them on payment plans.

For some reason, US carriers have decided not offer any promotions on Apple’s new iPhone X, but the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus were the subjects of some deals several times in the past. Sprint wants to woe more Apple fans and is now offering great deals on both the iPhone 8 and iPhone X.

Now through Wednesday, save $300 on the LG V30 at Verizon

With two weeks left until Christmas Day, Verizon is taking $300 off the price of the LG V30. That takes the cost of the phone down to $540. Four days ago, we told you about Verizon’s new deal for the Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL. Without requiring a trade-in, as Verizon demanded in a previous version of the deal, new and existing Big Red customers are able to walk into a nearby Verizon Store and save $300 on the purchase of either new Pixel model. The phones must be bought using Verizon’s device payment plan, and the $300 discount is applied through a bill credit of $12.50 that will show up on your account each month for two years.

Deal: Verizon Galaxy S8 and S8+ are $300 cheaper at Best Buy

Best Buy is running another promotion on two of Samsung’s flagships, the Galaxy S8 and S8+. They are locked on Verizon, but you can buy them $300 cheaper than the MSRP if you agree with a 2-year agreement.

For a limited time, Verizon Galaxy S8 is just $420 ($17.50/month) at Best Buy. The phone comes in four color variations: Black, Coral Blue, Orchid Gray and Arctic Silver. The slightly bigger Verizon Galaxy S8+ is on sale as well for $516 ($21.50/month) and it’s available in the same color options.
