Injustice 2 out now on iOS, Android version coming soon

It looks like Warner Bros. has just opened up Injustice 2 to everyone owning a compatible iOS device. The mobile game was soft-launched in select markets earlier this year, but only in the App Store.

The situation hasn’t changed after the worldwide release, as Android users can only pre-register on the game’s page in the Google Play store. iOS players can get it for free, but keep in mind that the game is not optimized for devices with less than 1GB RAM.

Injustice 2 expands on the first game by adding new characters, and lots of new modes. Developed by NetherRealm …

TwitterFacebook

It’s official: Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why is getting a second season. While we’ve already listed the perils of that decision, that decision has been made. So let’s look forward to what the show could do well and what it should do better.

Help for Jessica and Justin

The pair that should’ve been Liberty High’s “It couple” was at the beginning of Hannah’s tapes, but it’s the events described in the later tapes that leave them shaken and scarred entering Season 2. The show fleshed out Jessica and Justin better than the novel, especially with their family dynamics. Jess is now coming to terms with her painful assault and Justin with his complicity in what happened to her, but with the right support system they could both overcome. Read more…

Pixel XL 2 aka Walleye scores a mention in Android testing by Google engineer

David Zeuthen, a Senior Software Engineer at Google, may be toying around with a Google Pixel XL 2, which we recently learned could be codenamed Walleye. From the AOSP project code postings that revealed to us the eventual internal titles of the next Pixel phones, now comes the thread that you see above, where Mr Zeuthen refers to testing new software, probably part of Android O, on a “walleye” device (nudge, wink).
Provided that the deduction is legit, Google is apparently hard at work on the new Pixels already. With the Google I/O event right …

LG's latest earnings report shows 10 percent overall yearly growth, 2 percent in its mobile division

LG Electronics posted its Q1 2017 earnings report today, and things are looking pretty great for the company on pretty much all fronts. Its operating profits are up 9.7 percent over the same period last year, though its mobile division saw only 2 percent year-over-year growth.

The increase in smartphone revenue, which for Q1 2017 was 3.01 trillion won (USD 2.61 billion), was helped by the launch of its latest flagship, the LG G6, though its March 10 release date left it little time to leave a considerable mark on the company’s profits. However, unit …
