The US rollout of the mid-range LG X Power 2 started back in May, but it has yet to hit some carriers in the country. Although a report claimed the LG X Power 2 could be offered by U.S. Cellular, even before the South Korean company announced the smartphone, it didn’t happen yet.

A 38 second video made by designer Philippe Starck and posted on social media could be giving us an advance look at the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2. While this is a concept video, keep in mind that the man who made the concept is the actual designer of the first Mi MIX and is the official designer of the sequel. You can see how there is practically nothing to see in the way of bezels on both sides and at the top of the display. At bottom is a “chin” that is about half the size as the one on the Samsung Galaxy S8.

Google Pixel 2 visits the FCC with Android 8.0.1, Active Edge and SD-835 on board

The Google Pixel 2 has been certified by the FCC. Based on documentation found on the FCC website, it appears that the Pixel 2 will once again be built by HTC. The latter has its name all over the FCC filing. The paperwork also reveals that the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will have a feature similar to the Edge Sense that is used on the HTC U11. With this feature, users can squeeze both sides of the phone together to open apps, control certain functions (like snap a picture, for example) and more. The Angry Birds are reportedly getting ready to invade Wall Street. The company that developed the Angry Bird games and owns the rights to the characters, Rovio, is believed to be filing for an Initial Public Offering that could launch as soon as next month. Speculation has Rovio raising $400 million from the IPO, which would value the game developer at a total of $2 billion. Those in the know suggest that these are not final figures.
